Today, Iraqi security forces (ISF) have taken control of the al-Baladiyat neighborhood of Mosul after a series of firefights with ISIS units in the area.
Pro-ISF sources also announced the liberation of the Domiz neighborhood. However, this cannot be confirmed by evidence from the ground. Domuz, Sumer, Yarmjah, Mazari and Palestine de-facto remain a contested area between ISF and ISIS.
