Yesterday, the Iraqi military has announced that 9 ISIS militants in clashes in the al-Rifaie district.
Media sources linked to the Defense Ministry also urget citizens in the areas controlled by ISIS to avoid using vehicles in order to avoid additional casualities among civilians.
Suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices are an important part of the ISIS defense strategy in western Mosul. This is why any civilian that uses a vehicle could become a target of government forces fire, artillery or air strikes.
