On March 13th, Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps General Siamand Mashhadani was reportedly killed by the US strike on Kata’ib Hezbollah positions in Iraq.

In addition, 32 Popular Mobilization Units fighters were reportedly killed in the 5 US strikes and at least 50 more were injured.
The strikes were carried out in response to a strike on camp Taji in Iraq, which killed 2 US marines and 1 British army nurse. US Defense Secretary Mark Esper said earlier in the day that he was given the authority “to do what we need to do” from US President Donald Trump, without elaborating further.

Photos emerged purporting to show the impact of the airstrikes on the Karbala International Airport, still under construction in Shia-majority Karbala governorate in central Iraq.

The US also released a statement claiming responsibility for the attack and specifically saying that it was in response to the strike that killed the two US marines on March 11th.

This marks the second time that the US strikes Kata’ib Hezbollah positions, with the previous time happening on December 30th, 2019. Both times the accusations it had against it were unproven, and both times the group, part of the Popular Mobilization Units, and as such part of Washington’s allied Iraqi Armed Forces lost dozens of members.
MORE ON THE TOPIC:
pity – much better if it had been a general of the occupying american force, or why just one, an entire schoal of american generals would be the preferred outcome – but rest assured, soon american generals (and jewish ones from the occupying force in palestine) will turn up dead as door nails, eventually swinging in the wind from lamp posts.
A weird sounding family name for an Iranian. I searched the name in Persian, found nothing but a 2 years old news about an ISIS operative named Abu Ali Mashhadani. All other (only 3 pages) results are in Arabic.
Masshadani is not an Iranian surname, it’s Arabic.
Siamand is also not a common name, The only one I know was an athlete, Paraolympic world champion that we lost a couple of weeks ago. So far there’s nothing on the Persian web or from Iranian sources. Take whatever Kord sources say with a grain of salt until somebody reliable confirm or denies it.
I was going to say. The only talk of casualties is from single twitter source and they have “Kurdistani” in their name, I’ll wait for something less fishy…
It is rubbish as the Americunts are reeling from growing resistance. They are most vulnerable to IEDs in Syria.
Agree the name is not Persian. I had to google as I’m getting divorced. Wiki have what appears conflicting info about General Mashhadani, born in a Shi’ti district of Bagdad, however seems to be a Salafist which would be from my understanding a Sunni sect akin to Wahhabism. So, gave up on that line of enquiry. If as claimed above that General Mashhadani is from the Iranian IRGC. We might be about to see an untelegraphed Iranian strike on Yanki Camps in Iraq. We see however, Yanki media framing the narrative, as it is again claimed without one shred of proof that the initial attack was carried out by Kataib Hezbollah. Yanki War Moungers cranking up efforts for war with Iran. And maybe Russia too
I’m sorry to hear that. I hope it goes as painless as possible, specially if you have children. Remain strong.
While I am in real time, getting divorced, I did not mean, that somehow or another I am a little boy lost. Lol. I was juxtaposing it to an advert some years back which went “I don’t need Google, my wife knows everything.” I suppose it was lost in the information “advert” overload. On hindsight; I should have encapsulated the phraze with bookends
Sorry to hear about your divorce. Stay positive and this too shall pass.
We’ve not heard from you for quite a long time…hope you’re doing fine…I will be glad if you can give us brief insight on how the COVID 19 battle is going in Iran… Has any vaccine been developed yet??
It was is a Americunt and Zionist bio-warfare prototype that has backfired like most of their home goals. I had known it on day one as this was Americunt evil and now It is official :
China government spokesman says U.S. military has brought virus to China
BEIJING, March 12 (Reuters) – A spokesman for China’s Foreign Ministry stated on Thursday the U.S. military has brought the coronavirus to the Chinese city of Wuhan, which has been hardest hit by the outbreak, doubling down on a war of words with Washington.
Yes there is something to that unfortunately ,
https://www.globalresearch.ca/covid-19-further-evidence-virus-originated-us/5706078
I’m fine, thank you but I’ve been around. Among all the countries currently battling this illness Iran is in a unique position as we’re not facing only the virus. Because: – There’s a very intense disinformation campaign going on (it’s very easy to recognize it even for the people who don’t understand Persian. All they need to do is to check the social network pages of Persian services of outlets like BBC, DW, AFP, Independent, VOA and 2 major anti-Iranian persian networks of Manoto and Iran International, compare the number of posts with their other languages. In all instances, the number of posts were more than all of their posts in all other languages combined). Each one try to up the number of dead and infected but you never ever hear anything from the actual medical experts, they only interview with “analyzers” and “political commentators” (a rare instance was 2 brothers, one of them doctor, both convicted of espionage under cover of researching AIDS, spent a few years in prison and now very active on telling everybody how bad Iran is.)
– They ramped up the sanctions and prevent Iran to access the medical aid it needs to fight the outbreak. Zionist organizations are non-stop shaming the medical companies who sell medicine/medical devices to Iran in order to force them stop. Also they do anything they can to hinder the efforts, anything.
– Despite the bad things, we have something like “Basij”, an organization of volunteers which is a great and invaluable asset in any and all emergencies. Basij is disinfecting all parts of many cities, anything that can be touched by people, organizing deliveries and even production. – A great deal of effort went into increasing production of necessary items. Sanitizers, disinfectants, gloves, masks, medical devices like respirators and so on. Before the outbreak we produced Ethyl alcohol 3 times the country’s normal need, it’s increased to more than 7 times and continuing. The same for other items but the shortage is not answered yet (most part goes into medical facilities, less into market). – Very organized hording in large numbers. BBC and Manoto even instructed people by “financial experts” to horde the goods they think their price might go up to make a profit.
– There’s a campaign going on roughly translated into “I’ve got your back”. The people who can help the ones who are less fortunate. Landlords not asking for this and next month’s rents. The results was good so far, many joined, from the ones with one property to some guys with 300 and 400 shops and whole malls.
Creating a vaccine takes time, unless you have a head start and know the virus beforehand. That’s why it’s very curious that Israelis announced they’ll have a vaccine in the coming months.
I won’t talk about the stupidity of some people because it’s not unique to Iran. We had more than 80 deaths and countless blindness the result of using industrial alcohol (methanol). Like in the US that some thought gargling and drinking bleach is a good idea. Turned out the guy who licked the shrine (a member of Shirazi cult) had a doppelganger in Switzerland, a lady reporter who licks urban surfaces but you won’t hear from about the latter from SMS, just the bearded guy. I also omit the laziness and stupidity of the administration (of Rohani). The guy is more concerned about his beauty face mask and colouring his beard and acts at the speed of a snail and times contradicting his own Health Minister who himself appointed as the head of committee to combat Covid19. Fortunately, yesterday Ayatollah Khamenei made the JS of armed forces the authority to combat the virus, so hopefully things are going to be a lot different and for the better, fingers crossed.
Great insight…we thank God for your life and all others on mother earth…. Won’t it be more rewarding to die than to use a vaccine made for the goyims (the sub-humans) by the ashkanazi jooz? All goyims must be prepared to get annihilated in the next decade by another virus after using the jooz vaccine against COVID 19..
You guys always blame others. This is one of the reasons why most Iranian citizens have lost confidence in the mullahs’ lying regime. I wish good health to the citizens of Iran, despite the negligent and false conduct of the mullahs regime.
Heard that from you on another website too, must be the standard canned Hasbara memo.
“Heard that from you on another website too..” – What another website ? stop lying.
GAS KIKES!
US has very limited credibility and the true picture is now coming out of Iraq which once again shows a pattern of US indiscriminate targeting of civilians and Iraqi “allies”.
Civilian among six killed in US air raids: Iraqi military
Iraq’s army denounces overnight US air attacks, calls them violation of sovereignty.
This is a usual false US claim and has zero veracity. They did bomb the civilian Kerbala airport and killed Iraqi civilians and military.
Thank yoy for that valuable insight ,Garga.
It again demonstrates the value and the power of free speech via our global debates within the ‘anti globalist’ forums.
You have to kill evry single fucking yankee in the middle east – with out any mercy at all – if you want to gain your sovereignty back. There is no other solution.
prima facie, fake news—the USA murders a scarecrow, dresses it as an Iranian general and their fascist media transforms lies into fake news…they likely never found bin laden…they claimed his body was discarded in the ocean…an obvious amerikan lie
The US will leave Iraq in the future, but Iraq won’t see full stability until Iran stops interfering in their affairs and funding militias more loyal to Iran than Iraq like Kataib Hezbollah. Iraqis have shown in the streets that they’re tired of political sectarianism (a system the US imposed) and Iran’s influence over its politics and security apparatus. Both must leave accordingly, Iran should also remember that it was a cowardly executed rocket attack that led to the buildup and the death of Soleimani.
How many Iraqi civs were covardly killed by the U.S? If not for Iran Iraq would be an isis caliphate now.
This is one dimensional Jew scum who repeats the same old garbage on every site as soon as Iran is mentioned. Just a PUNK!
“How many Iraqi civs were covardly killed by the U.S?” – Too many. The U.S. needs to get its troops out of the Middle East except from the Gulf states. “If not for Iran Iraq would be an isis caliphate now.” – Iran helped, but the Iraqis with the coalition defeated ISIS.
Baghdad was about to fall to isis, they were 60km away from the city, U.S. halted all weapons deliveries and evacuated the city. What saved Baghdad? Iran taking over the defense, and Russia delivering Su-25 CAS jets and Mi-28 gunship helos flown by Russian pilots I may add.. Striking isis 24/7 for weeks. Without that Baghdad would have fallen. Iraq and Russia also established a joint intel hub coordanating efforts and intel. When the U.S. realized Baghdad wont fall they started the weapon deliveries again. And when they realised isis wont win they also started striking them. Always one step behind…

Bla bla Putin bla bla Jews bla bla Christians bla bla Americans …… Old impotent Zi0 psycho at its best. LOL.
Jew arsehole, I knew you would have to comment since Iran was mentioned. LOL
Impotent Zio Psycho to the mullahs regime rescue. The impotence fraternity.

Shia man, do you also hate Christians, Jews, Russians, Americans and so many others, like Old Impotent Zio Psycho ?
Hey you Jewish rat stop your projection. Everyone knows that’s a Jewish thing.
So whoever opposes the jihadist mullahs regime must be a Jew? LOL.
Your Iranophobia is typical of hasbara on different blogs. You one dimensional simpletons fool no one.
My parents were born in Iran. My older relatives are mostly Iranians . Who are you to speak for the Iranians? You guys support a jihadist regime that oppresses the Iranian people.
I am Armenian and visit Iran almost every month, your kind is totally delusional about events in Iran, I am sorry to say.
Spare me the hypocritical condescension. None of my relatives visit Iran even though some are in working relations with Iran. Why take the risk? A dual citizen or any foreign citizen can be detained in Iran as part of a political game.
Fair enough. I see you frown upon others because “they speak for Iranians”, but at the same time you are doing the very same thing. So, are you currently living in Iran? If not, when was the last time you visited, how long and how the “jihadist regime” oppressed you while in Iran?
One doesn’t need to be a fanatic government supporter to support their country. We saw the example of Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria. We like it or not, this government is the only thing between us and the fate of above mentioned countries. Countless times we tried to reform things, many times successfully and many times unsuccessfully, largely thanks to relentless efforts of US and co. A reform leads to initial weakness and as long as there’s a threat of war we can’t afford it. Today I (and the likes of me) do our best to keep it strong, out of our love for our country. Whenever the threats stop, we’ll know how to deal with our governments’ shortcomings but not a single day before that.
I meet confused angry homeless “Iranians” projecting their parents grievances in the diaspora quite often. There is a large Armenian community in LA and they are also quite intrigued by how out of touch these angry children of the the runaway “Iranians” are, mostly Jews who fled Iran, they also have a radio and TV station that has been predicting the fall of the popular Iranian revolution for the past 41 years.
I respect your opinion and your love for your country. But that doesn’t mean I can’t criticize the mullahs regime.
Thank you. Of course I think it’s your right to criticize anybody you want. But are you “criticizing” as much as insulting (and I don’t mean the Iranian government but our intellect)? And how doing what you do is going to help people in Iran in any form, unless you consider justification of US unilateral sanctions, economic and medical terrorism some kind of help to us? Did you know that so far more than 20 of the Saddam’s chemical attacks victims have died as the result of Corona+sanction (shortage of respirators and oxygen makers needed to support their breathing) after a life-long time of suffering? Are they Iranian enough for you or are they “regime supporters” because they dared to defend their country against Saddam’s invasion?
And there goes the very important answer to my question about your relation to Iran. How do you receive your information about the situation in Iran’s society? At least can you read Persian?
Again, feel free to criticize anybody. While you’re at it, may I suggest a little bit of critical thinking in addition? I hope it’s not too much.
Well said ,Garga.
This is not the place for complex philosophical answers. You sound like a reasonable person. But at the same you support conspiracy theories like as if the Corona virus is a product of the US / Israel. Is it critical thinking or reciting of the mullahs regime propaganda ? I’m not here to justify the actions of the US . But it should always be remembered that the mullahs regime have turned the US into Iran’s number one enemy. What do you expect when you guys scream “Death to America” at rallies organized by the regime?
Don’t forget to mention your wahabbi butt buddies and your evangelical Brainwashed worshippers
41 years of the mullahs regime has destroyed the thinking ability of supporters of the jihadist mullahs regime, like you.
You need to visit Iran, rather then spew MEK and Zionist nonsense.
41 years of sanctions and you still can’t get rid of Iran. Pathetic
Only the Iranians can remove their jihadist regime. I believe it’s closer than you think.
Ya okay believe your own lies all you want if the Persians didn’t want the their current rule they would have removed it 40 years ago
“if the Persians didn’t want the their current rule they would have removed it 40 years ago” – The majority don’t want it, but the IRGC is forcing the regime on them.
Stop lying fool https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_1979_Iranian_Islamic_Republic_referendum
Clearly Wikipedia is proof that I’m lying. LOL. You seem to agree with yourself.
The truth hurts huh?
I’d be extremely surprised if an IRGC General was a casualty. The Iranians are far from stupid and learn very quickly from any incident, do you not find it strange that an Iranian General was just hanging-out with the lads at a hotspoyt that they would have been expecting a retalitory strike to happen at? After the last attack Iran like the rest of us watched the U.S response, what would make you think that they would just ignore everything the’ve learned and expose ranking personel to reprisals? Though if this was not a PMU attack but rather a red-flag attack so that the U.S could flood Iraq with AD Systems its working out perfect fior them
i hope this is false, but if not, iran had better not let it go unanswered
It is absolute rubbish, believe the name is not a Farsi name. Some Jew Hollywood casting agent made it up in hurry.
Hope so, hope that IRGC themselves will give official statement on it
Iraq has given a true account. US killed Iraqi soldiers and civilians and not a single PMU member was hurt.
At least one civilian and five security personnelhave been killed in US air raids in Iraq, according to the Iraqimilitary, which called the attack a violation of sovereignty and a targeted aggression against Iraq’s armed forces and civilians.
The civilian killed in the overnight attack was a cook working at an airport under construction in Karbala, the military said in a statement on Friday. The death toll included three soldiers and two policemen, while four soldiers, two policemen, one civilian and five militiamen were wounded, it said. Iraqi military has lodged a protest with US occupation forces.
But what about Iran have they confirmed if any of their guys was killed or not? Seems like this “resistance” has yet to fully expel the US from the region despite constantly saying they will, aside from a few rocket attacks here and there, like wtf?
Iranian media has dispelled US propaganda. Only General Ghaani visited Iraq and Syria and is now safely home. Russian and Armenian media also did not pay any attention to US claims. However, Iraq has published details of the indiscriminate and intentional bombing of Kerbala airport used by Shia pilgrims and that is causing widespread hatred for the US and some of the bombs fell close to the Holy Shrines as the airport is not that far.
They probably can’t expel them except by military means.
I doubt Iran will respond directly this time but let’s see..
Total unadulterated BULLSHIT, what is a Mashhadani??? or even Siamand? And in any case a “general” in the IRGC is a staff officer of a colonel level. However, there is no doubt that the Americunts are once again bombing the civilian infrastructure of Iraq in frustration as resistance increases. There are much bigger liberation forces attacks to come on the Americunt oil thieves and NATO arselickers.
Roasted IRGC, no one does it better than the U.S :)
Little Jew wanker, how cute :)
BURN KIKES $$$$
First you’d have to have some $$$$ but you’re just a poor dreg with none. Still you could burn Putz Putin the Poisoner worthless Rubles when not using them for toilet paper.
Well, Israel and the Coronavirus ain’t bad at it either.
I’m hoping the USA bases will come under unsustainable Attacks – Go home alive or in Body Bags. The ONLY thing the cowardly USA War Mongers can’t stand is body bags coming home.
US occupation is brutal and has traumatized all Iraqis and a real wide-spread resistance is building up in the region. US and its NATO vassals need to leave Iraq and Syria.
But they seem to be just fine with sending body bags home.
if the USA military under idiot Donald trump order just kill an other General,i might see stronger response from the Iranians that will cause US military personnel death..Killing nation Gemeral, leaders is a declaration of war.
And if Islamist Iran retaliates killing even one American, they will lose many many more generals and lots more.
Even if you killed a general everyday, nothing changes. You will leave sooner or die in thousands and still leave
Well, just fine with the first part but the second is just your delusional wet dream.
Accord Iraqi military sources…no member of Shia militia have been killed…but 3 members of Iraqi army one civilian and 2 Policemen have been killed!
LMFAO…
This is quickly becoming an unwinnable war for the US and a patriotic war of resistance for the old Mesopotamia people. The US idea of killing iraqis x10 of what they suffer was already tried by nazis in Yugoslavia, Poland and so on. It failed completely as it cemented the resolution of the locals. I would not be surprised if US paid iraqi soldiers start hitting US soldiers aswell. It could be quickly become a unsustainable position for the american money printers
LOL…pretty soon the highest ranking officers in the Islamist Iranian military will be privates.
