More recently, the world was shocked by the statements of the Zionist media, where Ayatollah Sistani from Iraq was listed as one of the targets.
The surprise was largely due to the fact that Sistani is not only not a “pro-Iranian figure”, he can be attributed to Iran’s main opponent in Iraq, the last barrier to the influence of the Islamic Republic. Therefore, experts are still confused to this day, why would the Zionists kill Iran’s main competitor among the Shiites?
The simplest answer to this question looks like this: “the Zionists are in agony and it doesn’t matter to them how many to kill and who to kill, the main thing that drives them is revenge.” However, such an explanation may relate to the actions of the colonialists against the Palestinians or Iranians, but Sistani…… Unlikely. Therefore, my opinion is that the Mossad intends to create chaos in those areas where the Iranians have a rather vulnerable position. It is known that Sistani will soon go to another world, and his receiver has not yet been announced, there is a difficult struggle for supremacy in Najaf. In addition to candidates from the “traditional line” of Marjiyat, there is also the famous Muqtada Sadr, who is in opposition to all local clerical circles. Sistani’s murder will pave the way for the beginning of Shiite strife and chaos, which, in the context of the war of the Axis of Resistance against the Zionists, can unsettle Iraq for a long time.
Nevertheless, despite threats from Mossad terrorists, Sistani did not issue a fatwa to launch a jihad against the Zionists and did not comment on statements from enemies at all. There are many reasons for this behavior of the head of Najaf, from observing the old traditions of opposing Iranian influence (after all, any anti-Zionist actions imply coordination with Iran’s allies), to the banal fear of the Zionist death machine.
All attempts by some commanders of the resistance factions to expose a situation in which Sistani allegedly supports the actions of the factions aimed at helping the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance look like just a lie, demanding to create a good face with a bad game. Representatives of the resistance factions continue their illiterate work in the media, according to which, with every information flow, it is necessary to promote “Iraqi unity”, which has never existed, does not exist and it is unlikely that we will see it.
A new stone from Sistani flew into the garden of the pro-Iranian factions the other day, when “Marja” again raised the issue of the presence of weapons in the hands of Iraqis and called for “limiting the possession of weapons to the territory of Iraq.” With this message, Sistani made it clear that he does not support the actions of the resistance factions in their attacks on the positions of the Zionists and the Americans. Another reproach to the resistance factions was the Najaf issue, when “indirect” representatives of Sistani pointed out that supposedly “the behavior of the resistance factions will provoke the Zionists to attack the holy places in Najaf.” Such words are direct evidence of the conformism and fear of Marja and his electorate towards the Zionists, but, more importantly, Sistani is already trying to make the resistance factions the scapegoats, in case the Zionists bomb the religious cities of Iraq.
This behavior of Sistani towards the main enemies of the Islamic world shows how concerned the head of Najaf is about his fate and the fate of his loyalists. Sistani has done everything in his entire adult life to avoid fighting Zionism, since in his logic and the logic of his teachers, the main enemy is the “internal saboteurs”, here we mean the representatives of “revolutionary Shiism”.
Today, Sistani is worried not only about the widespread popularity of Iraq’s main anti-Zionist figure in the person of Muqtada Sadr, the military activity of resistance factions and the specific threat of assassination from Mossad, the arrival of Trump and his open hostility to the Islamic world and Iraq in particular, also pushes Sistani to a conciliatory policy in favor of the American-Zionist tandem. Trump’s victory in the American elections pleased all the traitors and hypocrites from Arab countries, but the leadership of Najaf understands that if, for the first time after the murders of Suleimani and Muhandis, the Iranians showed patience with the shameful policy of neutrality from Sistani, then in the case of a new threat from Trump, the Iranians can take extreme measures that can to touch, if not Margie himself, then his inner circle and their religious movement as such.
If a number of high-ranking Iranian figures allowed the development of nuclear weapons and thereby demonstrated their willingness to abandon the previous doctrine on this issue, then in such nuances as reviewing their diplomacy in the context of a new crisis in Iraq, the Iranians will easily reconsider their tolerant policy towards their neighbors. Which may mean a return to the export policy of the “Islamic revolution”.
