Is The COVID-19 Vaccine "Trade War" 2020's Final Farewell?

Argentina’s president Alberto Fernandez is getting international flak for buying Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine from Russia, among other companies and countries.

In his opinion, his country’s put in a bad spot, since now it needs to consider whether it should buy more of the Russian vaccine, and this amounted to “trade war.”

Competitors are eager to “discredit each other,” Fernandez told TV Publica in an interview broadcasted on Monday, adding that the coronavirus vaccine market is worth “tens of billions of dollars.”

“A trade war has been unleashed and, as everyone hopes for a vaccine, there is a geopolitical debate about who imposes it.”

“They call it a Russian vaccine and not the Gamaleya vaccine,” Fernandez said, referring to the drug’s developer, the Moscow-based Gamaleya Research Institute.

He defended his country’s decision, simply because Argentina has a massive population, and it just needs vaccines to protect its people and save lives.

“There are political sectors that inform or misinform, and use this vaccine as part of their game,” he added, noting how some players are interested in “scaring” the public away from getting a shot and are “sowing doubts.”

“I would not dare to say that one is better than the other. How do you compare? I cared a lot about negotiating with everyone: we are buying vaccines of Covax, of AstraZeneca, we have bought a vaccine from Russia, we continue negotiations with China and we continue the talks with Pfizer, because the truth is that we need vaccines.

We are waiting for others when we start negotiations, and suddenly – don’t ask me how – we’re apparently sinners for having brought 300,000 doses of vaccine to Argentina, when some other [nations] are asking for any vaccine for their people.”

Argentina began a mass vaccination campaign using Sputnik V on December 29th.

Anonymous sources leaked documents that purportedly showed that 12 volunteers have had “adverse” side-effects during the trial, among them three volunteers over the age of 60 had suffered from abscesses, abdominal pains, and blood clot.

Eduardo Lopez, an infectious disease expert at the Ricardo Gutierrez Children’s Hospital in Buenos Aires, told La Nacion newspaper that such severe symptoms were “almost certainly” not related to the vaccine.

Just days earlier, on Christmas Eve, December 24th, Argentina’s President Alberto Fernandez has expressed his gratitude to Russia after a plane from Moscow delivered the first batch of the Sputnik V vaccine against the coronavirus to Buenos Aires.

“Now begins the largest vaccination campaign in our history,” Fernandez, who earlier promised to become the first to get the jab in the country, wrote in a separate message.

According to a deal signed earlier in December, Argentina will be getting 10 million doses of the Russian vaccine overall. Argentina became the first nation in Latin America to grant approval to Sputnik V. It was done in line with an emergency procedure without local testing.

It is notable what the Argentinian president said, that this is a “trade war”.

According to estimates, The US drugmaker Pfizer and the German biotech firm BioNTech stand to bring in nearly $13bn in global sales from their coronavirus vaccine in 2021.

Pfizer’s half would be more than the US pharmaceutical group’s bestselling product, a pneumonia vaccine that generated $5.8bn in 2019.

Pfizer has agreed to supply 100m doses to the US at a price of $39 for a two-shot course, or $19.50 per dose, with the option to supply another 500m doses under new terms. The EU has ordered 200m doses while the UK has ordered 40m.

The global poverty charity Oxfam said the vaccine would be “zero per cent effective to the people who can’t access or afford it”, and urged the companies to share their vaccine with other developers.

the Mainz-based BioNTech received €375m from the German government and a €100m loan from the European Investment Bank. BioNTech is tiny compared to Pfizer, with revenues of €109m last year compared with Pfizer’s $52bn.

The loss-making US biotech firm Moderna, which has received nearly $1bn in research funding from the US government, has priced its vaccine at $32 to $37 a shot.

According to the website of the Sputnik V, the cost of one dose of the “Russian vaccine” would be less than $10 per dose. Similarly, to BioNtech and Pfizer’s vaccine, it is a two-dose vaccine, meaning it would be worth less than $20 for the entire inoculation.

That is much cheaper.

Sputnik V will be nearly two or more times cheaper than foreign vaccines based on mRNA technology with similar efficacy rates. For Russian citizens, vaccination with Sputnik V will be free of charge.

So, yes, it is a “trade war” and massive profits are involved, and Pfizer/BioNtech’s vaccine, as well as Moderna’s vaccines aren’t called the “American Vaccine” or the “German Vaccine”, while the “Russian vaccine” is used as a derogatory term, and those who purchase it, despite being much cheaper and likely just as effective are “sinners,” they could even potentially be subject to sanctions.

Since the COVID-19 vaccine could be used as a lever to pressure smaller countries in purchasing the US/Germany-made ones, instead of the Russian-made one, similarly to how many countries are bullied into purchasing US-made weapons of war, instead of Russian-made ones, through various mechanisms and namely sanctions regimes.

US has been bankrupted by the Bilderberg. The Treasury just revised its national debt estimates to $42 trillion by 2025 or 300% of its receding GDP, or three times worse than Greece or most banana republics. When the moron Trump took office it was $19 trillion.

Looks like the money grabbing Bilderberg Jews will be very angry Frankly. Russia, China and Iran have all made more reliable vaccine in record time and they safer than the US pharma parasites.

Iran has begun the first phase in the human trial of the homegrown COVID-19 vaccine after successfully completing the initial steps, including tests on animals, and obtaining necessary approvals.

The vaccine, produced by Iranian experts at the Headquarters for Executing the Order of Imam Khomeini, was administered to three volunteers at a ceremony in Tehran on Tuesday, the first of them being Tayyebeh Mokhber, the daughter of the organization’s CEO Mohammad Mokhber.

It is dubbed Coviran Barekat after the pharmaceutical group that developed the vaccine against the coronavirus pandemic, which most believe was unleashed by the US biological warfare lab.

Decatur Guy

You are spot-on. There is something much bigger at play. TPTB have been gas-lighting the nations for generations a need to depopulate is coming.

For most the gas-lighting is something held true at a personal level. It’s something they welcome; all the while their levels of hubris is beyond redemption believing themselves beyond the culling. Pure hubris.

Pride comes before a great fall. They may be the first to “fall”.

HB_Norica

Yes viruses appear out of nowhere and suddenly it’s everywhere …. that’s what viruses do.

If there is a scam here it’s not the virus … it’s that they came up with a safe, effective vaccine for a corona virus in less than a year.

Consider that there are 4 corona viruses that infect humans … Covid-19, MERS, SARS and the common cold. They’ve been working on a vaccine for the common cold since the 1950’s SARS since 2003 and MERS since 2012 without any luck yet they can pull a vaccine for covid out of their ass in 8 months.

I have no idea if the vaccine is really safe and effective. If my goal was to get the population back to work consuming and making rich people richer I’d sure as hell want them to BELIEVE the vaccine was effective.

lol any lockdown kills an economy, second, how do we know that all people that died, died because of covid and not because of bying too fat, diabetic, smoking, cancerous, old and because of other diseases, maybe these people would have died by an stronger flu as well? You know pcr test are not reliable? Up to now I know personally just 3 people that got covid, one had diabetic, one is too fat and one is already old, they all got some problems but didn’t die but were in very bad shape for weeks…..I could have caught it but I didn’t or I did and do not feel anything. I had contact with these people….up to now I made one test and it was negative but I wouldn’t believe in the testing results as they are not trustworthy sometimes people that have it get negative and people that are free of it get postive….how the fuck??? Because the Covid virus is millions of years old….and some of us are already immun against it!!!

Immune cells for common cold may recognize SARS-CoV-2

Share to PrintShare to EmailShare to FacebookShare to TwitterShare to More

At a Glance

A study of blood samples taken before the COVID-19 pandemic

showed that some people already had certain immune cells that recognize

SARS-CoV-2.

These immune cells also reacted with coronaviruses that cause common colds.

The findings suggest that existing immune cells may help account

for the wide range of symptoms experienced by people with COVID-19.

Previous infections by coronaviruses

that cause colds may help account for the wide variety of responses

people have to SARS-CoV-2. fizkes / iStock / Getty Images Plus

The virus responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic, SARS-CoV-2, is

part of a large family of coronaviruses. Coronaviruses usually cause

mild to moderate upper-respiratory tract illnesses, like the common

cold. However, SARS-CoV-2 can cause serious illness and even death. Why

people’s COVID-19 symptoms vary so greatly isn’t fully understood.

Your body’s disease defense system, the immune system, makes B and T

cells when exposed to pathogens like viruses and bacteria. B cells make

antibodies, which neutralize the microbes, rendering them harmless. T

cells have a variety of functions, including killing infected cells and

activating or recruiting other immune cells.

Once your body fends off a microbe, it retains some disease fighting

cells as memory cells. The next time you’re exposed to it, a memory cell

is ready to fight the disease again. This gives your immune system a

head start in combating the disease.

Previous studies have reported that 20–50% of people who hadn’t been

exposed to SARS-CoV-2 showed T cell responses against different parts of

the SARS-CoV-2 virus. To investigate further, a research team led by

Drs. Alessandro Sette and Daniela Weiskopf at the La Jolla Institute for

Immunology tested blood samples collected between March 2015 and March

2018 for T-cell responses against different pieces of SARS-CoV-2. The

work was funded by NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious

Diseases (NIAID). Results were published on August 4, 2020 in Science.

The team first tested the volunteers’ T cells for responses against

several pools of peptides—the short stretches of amino acids that make

up proteins. Each peptide consisted of 15 amino acids from SARS-CoV-2.

Cells that showed a response to a pool of peptides were then tested

again against a pool of peptides spanning the spike protein (the part of

the virus that latches onto human cells) or pools of 10 peptides each

that spanned the non-spike regions of the virus. The team screened 474

SARS-CoV-2 peptides total.

The team narrowed the pools until they identified 142 fragments of

the virus that interacted with the T cells—66 from the spike protein and

76 from non-spike regions. Of these, 40 were recognized by T cells from

two or more donors. These fragments might prove useful for COVID-19

vaccine trials and tracking memory T cells during infection.

The researchers generated T cell lines from the memory cells that

recognized SARS-CoV-2 fragments. They then tested them for

cross-reactivity against a peptide pool from other coronaviruses. They

found that of the SARS-CoV-2 and “common cold” coronavirus fragments

that were most similar (at least 67% genetic similarity) 57% showed

cross-reactivity by memory T cells.

“We have now proven that, in some people, pre-existing T cell memory

against common cold coronaviruses can cross-recognize SARS-CoV-2, down

to the exact molecular structures,” Weiskopf says. “This could help

explain why some people show milder symptoms of disease while others get

severely sick.”

“It still remains to be addressed whether this immune memory

reactivity influences clinical outcomes and translates into some degrees

of protection from more severe disease,” adds Sette. “Having a strong T

cell response, or a better T cell response may give you the opportunity

to mount a much quicker and stronger response.”

Notably, these findings contrast with those from antibodies, which

haven’t shown significant cross-reactivity between common cold

coronaviruses and SARS-CoV-2. More research is needed to determine

whether immune cell cross-reactivity contributes to the wide range of

symptoms seen with COVID-19.

Manipulation with statistics. Quite normal feature. The loss of economic activity is clearly political. Blackmail from International Finance to indebt everybody.

Jesus

You are being naive, prior to the pandemic there was a trade war that is still ongoing, IMF has no tangible wealth to share Eurasia is going strong. The only way EU and US can survive under existing conditions is to print more money out of the thin air…..until there is a hyperinflation, and all the debt owed to IMF a and the FED becomes a moot point.

Tommy Jensen

There is a money machine. Starikov wrote a book about it easily read.

Jesus

You make real money you produce something. ECB and the Fed play the same script. Russian central bank is disconnected from them with the newly instituted constitution.

Jesus

Ok I’ll read it.

Jesus

There is a printing machine in the western world that is I s playing a tired hand promoting little economic growth and parasitic living. I always emphasized that de dollarization was a step forward towards national sovereignty, the new Russian constitution cut the links with the Fed, Russian trade partners use local currencies or barter as payment tools. Also the level of Russian debt in Treasuries decreased to a nominal amount……Eurasia is moving forward while the western money machine is devoted primarily for societal welfare and concentrating the wealth in a few hands, instead of economic expansion and development.

I was aware of these concepts before I looked through the book you recommended. Thanks

HB_Norica

So covid-19 is a scam.

And let me guess, medical researchers, doctors, nurses, government officials and the military and police forces all over the world are in on it. That includes my wife and her company that has been hired to provide consulting and training to long term health care facilities all over the country

Then the scammers hired millions of actors to play covid patients and fake their own deaths. To fool the orderlies who bag them and the coroner they practiced holding their breath for a reeeaaalll long time.

They even got to the minimum wage long term care attendants in Cap-Pele New Brunswick and the natives on the Saint Mary’s indian reserve we were training 2 weeks ago. These people witnessed friends they knew in their communities get sick and die from Covid …. and you think it’s a scam.

FlorianGeyer

The deliberate manipulation of statistics has ensured that mainly old people over 80 and a small percentage under 80’s, virtually all with pre-existing conditions that are fatal, have universally been classed as Covid deaths.

Vast numbers globally have always died from corona flu for thousands of years ever since man walked on earth. There have been years when the deaths were higher. Its just the way of things and as yet, the global deaths are less than a bad year, even with the added numbers of phoney covid cause of deaths.

When honest debate about anything is disallowed by a dominant pressure group, it is a sure sign that the pressure group’s narratives are false.

Jens Holm

You can say that people has done this and that. But that dont say its should continue.

In dont see statistics are manipulated here. I many parts of the world they are or are impossible to make.

What I see from the start was a death rate of aboyt 2 % and they mainly were older ones. So in simple terms: Is is ok to let Your Grandparents die or should Ypou save them. Most people actially love their Grandparents.

I can agree in parts. West helping so many milions by healtcare and food has made too many alive and even adding themself. I had expected the help was for poor making a better life, but instead I see there instaed of 20 starvig and in badhealth are 100.

I will remind You that vaccines are for many things kept down for the whole world or most of it. Corona is jsut an example. It also spread much fasters as most things, because we are not isolated to, where we live as most people oncve was here.

HB_Norica

“The deliberate manipulation of statistics has ensured that mainly old people over 80 and a small percentage under 80’s, virtually all with pre-existing conditions that are fatal, have universally been classed as Covid deaths.”

First define ‘pre-existing conditions then find me an octogenarian that doesn’t have one. if you suffer from seasonal allergies it’s a preexisting condition as well as asthma, diabetes, obesity, a heart condition, past pneumonia or pleurisy …. good luck finding an adult without a pre existing condition let alone a senior.

Second show me evidence that stats have been manipulated by health care providers …. real hard evidence, not something being passed around on twitter or FB but real documented evidence. In my experience it would be extremely difficult to get a physician to risk his career and even criminal prosecution by lying on a death certificate.

Third Covid-19 doesn’t kill people. Covid-19 can be a contributing factor in a death but it’s going to be heart failure or stroke that actually kills them.

“Vast numbers globally have always died from corona flu for thousands of years ever since man walked on earth.”

That’s nonsense. Corona virus and influenza aren’t even remotely related. They share symptoms and spread in a similar way but they are completely different animals. December 2019 was the first time this particular corona virus has infected humans.

The panic in the health care community over covid-19 isn’t because it’s particularly deadly but that we had no idea what this virus did, what systems it infected, where it hides in the body.

Unlike influenza which is primarily a respiratory disease Covid-19 affects multiple systems in the body and even breaks the blood brain barrier by travelling through the ofactory nerve to infect the brain.

I understand that Covid-19 is being used as a political football but please consider the following.

We were attacked by what is essentially an alien weapon which we first identified in Dec 2019.

Other viruses … AIDS, Herpes, Epstein barr, shingles for example …. reside in the body for a lifetime and can cause symptoms and death decades after the initial infection. We only know what Covid-19 does to us one year after infection … there may very well be nasty surprises waiting for us decades down the road. Consider that AIDS was spreading around in the USA since the 1960’s but they didn’t start to see deaths until 20 years later.

Do you really think it wise to allow yourself to be infected by a potentially deadly virus we know little about and can infect the brain based on an argument over statistics?

Frankly if you want to go out and get infected, spread it to your kids and grandkids go for it however I’m going to treat this virus with respect and caution and protect myself. That goes for the vaccine as well ….. they’ve rushed it and haven’t done proper clinical trials IMO so I’ll wait and see how other make out first.

Billionaires Try to Shrink World’s Population, Report Says

Tommy Jensen

I know. At one point I understand what they mean. We are going to 9 billion. There is plenty of food, space and fresh water to all of us and many more. But there is not enough BMW’s, Holliday luxury resorts, swimming pools, mansions, Gucci bags, washing machines, castles, fine management titles and fine office jobs to all 9 billion. So in an AI and Robot age where labour will disappear in billions what do we do with all these 8 billion and their babies who all want to be as rich, Msc, Ceo as us? So there is a little problem.

FlorianGeyer

Problem solved :) Pay all redundant workers in the AI age, a universal income that will just about pay for necessities and link the income to the recipients being slave like creatures to Zionism.

Those who do not accept this would have their income blocked, and result in living on the streets and eating scaps from waste bins, etc.

I agree. The Green New Deal is all about the Goyim having far less, and the Chosen ones having more houses, cars and floating palaces etc.

Tommy Jensen

Its the same dilemma as with Russian gas. Should we in the free and civilised world use freedom vaccine or dictator vaccine. That is a very real problem for humanity and freedom.

Jim Allen

Is it ? What is the “free, and civilized world” you believe you live in ? Presumably the “Freedom” vaccines are made here ? What is a “Dictator” vaccine, where is it made ? What dilemma with Russian gas ? Russia has a perfect record of providing, low cost, high quality gas with impeccable reliability. Over decades, legend in fact. The “freedom gas” provided by foreign sources to US, has proven prohibitively overpriced at 50% or higher cost than the current product supplied. Of very poor quality, and a proven record of unreliable delivery. With extremely high pressure sales. I see no dilemma, I see a clear choice of the most qualified provider of this essential product, and the protection from the seasonal climate changes, and as the economic needs of the industry that depends on this product.

Arman Melkonyan

Russians SCREW their customers and allies as a matter of policy.

How Russians blackmailed, betrayed, defrauded and STOLE from their customer and ally Armenia:

In January 2013, Gazprom became the 100% owner of Armenia’s gas facilities. The “gas contract” signed by Presidents Putin and Sargsyan assumed that gas would be supplied to Armenia at domestic Russian prices. In practice, it turned out like this: “Gazprom” actually sold gas at domestic Russian prices to its 100% subsidiary. But “on the border” of Armenia gas suddenly grew in price – and the “daughter” Russian state-owned company Inter RAO UES sold this gas to Armenian consumers about TWICE AS EXPENSIVELY through Electric Networks of Armenia which is its 100% owned subsidiary.

Armenia was negotiating with Europe on the Association Agreement. In July 2013, they were crowned with success; it was expected that the parties would sign an agreement in the fall. Then, in July, it became known that Russia had raised the price of gas for Armenia: from $ 180 per thousand cubic meters to $270. Russia had blackmailed Armenia against signing the European Association Agreement. Consequently, the Armenians were forced to drop the agreement with the EU.

But when Armenia asked to join the Eurasian Union with Russia, Russians refused saying that they did not recognize Karabakh. Russia said this in May 2014, that is, two months after Russia’s annexation of Crimea. Even though Armenia, was one of the very few countries that welcomed the referendum in Crimea.

Prior to this outrage, until the Armenian Metsamor power plant was reopened, Russia was selling electricity to Armenia on credit terms which were 1.5 times more expensive than the more favorable financing terms available from Europe.

In 2001, Russia forgave four billion dollars of Ethiopia’s debt.

In 2000 – nine billion to Vietnam.

In total, from 2000 to 2005, Russia wrote off about 30 billion to Tanzania, Iraq, Laos, Benin, Guinea-Bissau and other close friends.

Then right before the second Karabakh war started, Russia sold more sophisticated arms than Russia’s ally Armenia ever had, to Armenia’s enemy, Azerbaijan.

Russians themselves had documented in Baku and Soumgait between 1988 and 1990 the fact that Azeris had tortured and killed their citizens of Armenian ethnicity as a matter of state policy, in pogroms organized by the Azeri government, during which the Azeri authorities had manufactured and distributed sharp-edged iron bars to Azeri civilians to enable them to stab and hack Armenian civilians to death.

After the second Karabakh war started, the Russians REFUSED to employ purely defensive Electronic Warfare assets which the Armenians did not possess. As a result, Turkish and Israeli drones murdered thousands of defenseless Armenians. The Russians watched their allies the Armenians get slaughtered without lifting a finger: https://jam-news.net/russia-armenia-allies-eurasian-union-economy-karabakh/?fbclid=IwAR1iVv5YADCF3GSDp_LNXCaDlFxgPuIIhcR4latVW-IB6Wsr5d1-fzWei9U

Total lie. If you’re so tough, like you try to talk, what do you need Russia to come protect your whining pussy ass ? Russia did exactly what it stated it would do you lying son of a butch. You lame ass chumps turn your back on Russia, then cry, and wail like Jews when Russia doesn’t come and do what it never agreed to do. Besides, you have no evidence to back up your fat stupid lying mouth. You sound like that fat fuck US Secretary of State Pompeous ass.

I discovered Poland, Belarus, Armenia all could have their good reasons to act as they did. We should be careful not to condemn anybody because we rarely know the full picture. Politics is the handwork of the feasible.

I for one would not favour a US ‘dictator vaccine’. :)

It should be pointed out, Israel after rejecting Western vaccines very early on, then ordered 1.5 million doses of Sputnik V vaccines from Russia. Says something.

Putin is Christian, a religion you’re not worthy of. Liar.

Israel hasnt rejected. They have chosen knowing its faster and also might have loosers in it.

Pathetic to blame Israel to act fast and best to the price as if it should be better not to or wait.

YES YES – It says something: Israel compared to others in the Region and others in the world takes a lot more care of its population.
