ISIS Advancing On Multiple Frontlines In Central Syria (Photos, Video)

Support SouthFront

On Friday, ISIS fighters captured 5 checkpoints of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) near al-Sukhnah town in the eastern Homs countryside, according to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq. The media also claimed that ISIS fighters captured al-Qualya’a village and its gas station south of al-Sukhnah town.

Moreover, Amaq even claimed that ISIS fighters capture the al-Hail gas field east of Palmyra city. Amaq went on and claimed that ISIS fighters attacked the SAA positions in al-Qaryatayn town southwest of Palmyra.

Pro-government sources claim that at least the attack of ISIS sleeper cells on al-Qaryatayn have been repelled. On other frontlines, the situation remains unclear.

Clashes near the T-3 station:

According to Amaq, ISIS fighters killed 40 SAA soldiers around al-Sukhnah, and 34 other in the T-3 station on Friday. Amaq also said that ISIS captured the following weapons from the SAA:

  • two battle tanks;
  • two BMP-1 vehicles;
  • two 122mm artillery pieces;
  • two 23mm guns;
  • a Kornet ATGM launcher with three Kornet missiles;
  • two Konkurs ATGM missiles.

Meanwhile, the pro-opposition media outlet known as the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that the SAA and its allies killed at least 45 ISIS fighters on the al-Sukhnah–Deir Ezzor highway and around al-Sukhnah town in the last 48 hours.

The ISIS attack in the eastern Homs countryside is for sure bigger than what was expected. The attack will likely last for few days and may cause a significant damage if the SAA and its allies don’t respond rapidly.

There is also no doubt that ISIS took advantage form several mistakes made by the SAA. The most biggest problem was the redeployment of the Tiger Forces from Deir Ezzor to the northern Hama countryside.

GET THOSE JETS AND CHOPPERS IN THE AIR AND UP 24/7!!!!!

wwinsti

And here we are again, another thinly defended supply line shattered, although hopefully only for the moment. The best thing Russia could do is make this (((not matter))), i.e. get the Deir Ezzor airbase fully functional with some airborne troops for backup. Meanwhile the SAA in DE should head west and link up with the Iraqi boarder. The SDF will attack of course, at which point Iran/Russia take turns pouring sh*t, death, and phosphorous on those m*th*r f*ck*rz.

Floyd Hazzard

There are things called external fuel tanks for fighters. Even one jet could hold these people at bay.

Graeme Rymill

One jet? For attacks that ranged across an area of over 125km? From T3 and Sukhnah to As-Shulah? You’re dreaming!

Bill Wilson

Fuckin’ Russians are too busy queering with Hezbollah and the Iranians. Pootin the Short can care less about that asshole Assad and his Sissy Arab Army’s weakling militias manned by losers who couldn’t fight their way out of a wet paper sack.

Kell

Nar mate actions would suggest otherwise.

wwinsti

Oh? Looks like the SAA has the upper hand around the Deir Ezzor road as of late.

Floyd Hazzard

Pathetic really, that a supposed world power can’t hold a rag tag army without an airforce at bay in an open desert, or can’t even see the dust columns from moving armies. No sleeper cells could be large enough to attack an entire army at different points. We all know Syria doesn’t have the manpower, are you telling me Russia doesn’t have the helicopters and Jets? ISIS should be hiding under stones in fear. Instead, the SAA keep losing more and more men. Why?

John Mason

Could it be that Russia doesn’t want to confront the US until all options are off the table? Makes logical sense. If Russia wants to maintain full sovereignty in Syria then they will have to act but on Russian terms.

jhon malakiat

syria war different with afghanistan war 89-92. in the first afghan war, soviet face resistance from islamist around the world considering soviet is communist and we know that islamist really hate communist.

sovier involved in this war all out. and the consecuences is soviet facing bankrupt.

syria war this time is totally different. russia has big support from islamist around the world. shia and moderat sunni support russia. because shia and moderat sunni also facing threat from salafy and moslem brotherhood.

its should be russia not to worry to sending troops and involved all out in this war. we, moslim around the world, will support russia.

Brother Ma

Well the syria friendly moslem nations need to send more volunteers to syria because the game has taken a frightening turn since russia also will get pipeline in barzani kurdo state.russia and usa become friends?

Brother Ma

I think u are right.russia needs to step up to plate as uncle sam says.

Leonardo Facchin

The tiny Russian air contingent in Syria can’t be everywhere everytime. The frontline is hundreds of kilometers long and – according to the news – in the past few days at least a part of the Russian air force has been focused on retaliating against HTS for the attack against its military police. I think the Russians aim to discourage any other attack of the same kind by showing other Al Qaeda leaders that it will end in disproportionate destruction.

As soon as I heard that the Tiger Forces had been redeployed around the front line in Idlib I feared that something like this could happen. But I don’t think it will make any difference on a strategic scale.

Deo Cass

No excuse. If the Russians don’t have enough aircraft, they simply need to bring in more. Easy. Second, this front line is the most vital for the survival of the Syrian state and it makes a whole lot of difference. That why the Americans and their proxies are throwing everything they have to try in every way to disrupt the Syrian government forces advance on this front line. The Syrian state would never be able to recover if over 1/3 of its territory with 80% of its oil and gas resources are split from the Syrian state and stolen by the US Western colonial imperialist powers.

Leonardo Facchin

It wasn’t an excuse. It was my own attempt at explaining.

It’s easy to say that the Russians should bring in more troops. But I urge people to consider that they have objective limitations and that, up to now, they have proven themselves pretty good at making do with the limited resources they have available. In two years they have empowered the Syrian Army, together with its allies, to turn the tide of the war in its favor at a time when the situation was extremely difficult.

In order to be able to keep up the support, the Russian government has to make sure to not overextend itself, both economically and with regard to the Russian people support for the operations in Syria.

I’m not especially worried about this setback because I don’t think that ISIS will be able to keep up the offensive for very long. I might be wrong, since I’m not an expert with regard to military strategy at all… but it doesn’t appear likely that ISIS has the strength needed to reverse its very compromised strategic position.

Regarding the issue of retaining (or regaining) control over the Syrian territory, by looking at the maps showing the current disposition of the main military forces on the ground, I’d say that, as a matter of fact, the SDF has managed to cut the SAA off the eastern part of Deir-Ez-zor province. It’s hard to imagine how the SAA could bypass them without an agreement or a very bloody and uncertain fight, especially considering the constant shortage of manpower that afflicts the already stretched Syrian Army.

hhabana

Every Mother Fucking person between 18 and 35, man or woman, should be fighting in SAA. You cannot tell me that the fucking Russians don’t have their own trainers like the Americans. As we said in the military: piss poor planning!

This is the same pathetic shit like Philippines. Large population, young women whoring themselves, young men fucking off, lack of societal discipline.

Samuel Boas

Every person between 18 and 35? Smart idea you dumb ass. And who else will fulfill the rest of the jobs in Syria? Jezus what a stupid solution.

hhabana

They do it in Israel, they can do it in Syria. This isn’t job creation time!

dutchnational

They do it in Northern Syria too, in a volontary way. Even tens of thousands young women joined the SDF as part of the YPJ and their arab counterparts.

hhabana

You are a dumb fuck. Stop drinking and use what little brains God bestowed you.

Did you ever hear of World War 2? I know, you are poor student and most likely mentally handicapped.

From Wikipedia…

During the Great Patriotic War (World War II) all able-bodied men of ages 18–51 were subject to draft with the exception of specialists declared vitally necessary in industry, which was revamped for military/defense production.

Do you understand this is for survival of Syria and not a little misunderstanding?

dutchnational

Ever heard of women?

Leonardo Facchin

The Russians have been training Syrians for months now. Where do you think the “5th legion” of the Syrian Army came from?

hhabana

Again, Leonardo. You and Samuel are brothers, yes?

During the Great Patriotic War (World War II) all able-bodied men of ages 18–51 were subject to draft with the exception of specialists declared vitally necessary in industry, which was revamped for military/defense production.

Bill Wilson

LOL! The Soviets fielded armies of alcoholics during WW2.

Ace

Who defeated the Wehrmacht at tremendous cost.

Kell

Ace

A little realism is in order. Good one.

dutchnational

Your first sentence captures Assads problem.

Most of the young Syrian males do not want to be drafted. Those in SDF held lands join the SDF voluntarily or are conscripted by the HXP for nine months.

Assad drafts for two or three years but at present keeps the young in the army indefinily. So most run abroad or join NDF where they are sort of drafted too but cannot be send out of their region.

This is the main reason, coupled with defections, for the small depleted numbers of the SAA, once 300k. now maybe (source SF and others) only some 100k.

Brother Ma

Not good enough.russia seems to want to fight this war efficiently rather than effectively. Saying ,oh well i did best i could with what i was WILLiNG to use rather WHAT i could have ,wont help if they lose this war.

If syria falls ,iran and russia will be next.russia needs to fight this war as if it is a life or death war!

Leonardo Facchin

Efficiently basically means getting the best results with the resources you can afford to invest in your endeavour. Which is exactly what the Russians are doing.

Kell

well said

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

The Russians have limited air power , the US has limited air power in the region it relies heavily on it’s allies for intelligence in aerial coverage and the US is truly a very pathetic super power in this regard over half of their intel is collected by the allies who are flying recon in the area.

The US distracted the Russians and that was a bad mistake now all reconciliations are Russians way or the destruction of their forces after that display. This has been a disguised blessing since the rebels will have surrendered before ISIS will and only terrorists will be left, thousands are signing reconciliation deals.

This will give Syria extra manpower to combat ISIS and any other terrorists, which will hurt the US long game and break their stride as they are proven to be the actual ones who supported this terrorist plot in Syria and Iraq, end game.

dutchnational

So again, this mess up being the fault of somebody else.

Pathetic.

As for US having allies they can and do trust, more power to them. It says positive things of the US and their allies.

Melotte 22

Sure it does. The first one are invading force and the second one are terrorists. That tells all we need to know. Both are enemies of Syria.

Kell

Yep

zman

The only thing it tells me is that the US is desperate and is bringing outside resources to bear in as many attempts of diversions as necessary, so as to allow SDF/ISIS to overrun eastern Syria. All these recent massive attacks are all co-ordinated to draw SAA from Deir Ezzor area, which the SAA has to respond to, to keep ISIS from slaughtering civilians and becoming re-entrenched. Russia has already gone on record as saying that they would not tolerate anyone keeping the SAA from being able to reassert control over all Syria. I expect Russia to keep their word and expect Russia will obliterate these offensives as soon as they can. The US knows that the SAA is stretched thin and that the Russians can’t be everywhere at once. But make no mistake, the US is throwing everything, including the kitchen sink, into these offensives. At some point, the US cabal is going to run out of fodder, as these offensives require their resources to be concentrated, which also means that any Russian offensive will be in a target rich environment, destroying many fighters as opposed to hunting them scattered out in the desert. As some have speculated about the 29 Russian MPs possibly being used as bait, look what happened to those that participated in that little fiasco. What does that say about US and their allies? That they will sacrifice their people at the drop of a hat for a supposed political advantage. Kurds, take note.

dutchnational

They will.

Bill Wilson

LOL! The Sissy Arab Army takes it in the ass again! What a bunch of losers! Fuck these faggot Russian trolls!

Kell

The long term view is positive, the short term not quite so much, timing is imperitive as the US knows and hence why the Kurdish advance and independence elections etc and idlib attack were so timed. Im surprised the Russians havent increased their air element at alternate bases like Tiyas near Palmyra – meanwhile the Kurds pillage the East… https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/28f94cc35643afc98b4e4da335cd4c83664e12c12356fdded59e1ecd50825ac8.png

John Whitehot

“Im surprised the Russians havent increased their air element at alternate bases like Tiyas near Palmyra – meanwhile the Kurds pillage the East”

And how would you know that, especially if talking about helicopters?

Why do you think planes aren’t rotated all around Syria? because it’s a nightmarish effort to restore bases to operational status, man them, provide security and another hundred of things only to gain 3 or 4 minutes of time-to-target.

Kell

Tiyas is a fortress – its been operational the entire war, Syria has its SU-24s there and there is ample room for Russian aircraft if required and it may be the case they are especially now they are hitting Idlib continually – infrastructure is already there, more fuel and bombs etc would likely be required and with the tarmac at Hominim in latakia packed it may be prudent as well as decreasing flying tim to deir Ezzor and the connecting hwy signifcantly

Kell

More on Tiyas – T4 for anyone interested.

Derapage

ISIS is supported by US & Saudi intelligence services, not really poorest armies of the World. There are also traitors in the Syrian army…

Kell

The US has the same problem and its the most expensive Military on the planet.

John Whitehot

pathetic that if Amaq talks bullshit and publishes 2 or 3 pics there’s a troll brigade that start telling Russia or Syria militaries what should they do.

PZIVJ

This ISIS video and propaganda is rather lame. Time for the Daesh trash to meet this: https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/986093a4c6d66bc1a655ede9ab327f9dff766420a3aed55ef194cf0c3365a48c.jpg

isis rats in a desert open area. why russia satellite can’t catch this rats? and then bomb them completely..

MH370

pathetic army…. im starting to doubt the syrian ability to withstand this war in the future

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They were organized by the US and they blocked the Iraqi army from taking on ISIS along the border in exchange for a false promise of them not supporting the KRG. Abadi is stupid to trust the US in any matter since the end goal is the break up of Iraq and Syria and he is helping them in their cause, typical back stabbing move by a weasel politician.

RichardD

Sana is reporting that the offensive has been repelled and the area is being cleared of the remnants.

Xanatos

Some attacks attributed to sleeper cells, others to Isis reinforcements from Iraq.

Either way, these attacks are well coordinated and show use of aerial reconnaissance and a command center with secure lines of communications.

It is easy to say these SAA checkpoints are poorly engineered, and the soldiers are poorly trained, but the fact is the attackers overwhelmed all five simultaneously using exactly the men and material they needed to overrun each checkpoint. That level of intelligence gathering and planning indicates a modern foreign power , not a terrorist organization on its last legs.

RichardD

Agreed, but they don’t have air cover and the government saw them marshalling and marshalled in response. Which is why these attacks are dealt with so quickly.

Graeme Rymill

You are talking about ISIS? The same ISIS that took Mosul in under a week? That captured huge areas of Syria? They know how to do major offensives!

Alan Foo Ho Kok

The soldiers in mosul we’re all told to run by people you know

Nigel Maund

You can bet the CIA was behind all of this! It has their fingerprints all over it. Well said!!

Bill Wilson

LOL! Your a fuckin’ moron!

Nigel Maund

You’re a typical US arsehole!

Rob

If Syrian government + allies don’t increase their strength then innocent servicemen will die and the government anti terrorist coalition fighting strength will decrease. Syrian government should think that they are fighting with world supper power which is America.

If Afghani Taliban and vietnamies can fight against America then why not Syrian government army and their allies. Just they need good strategy using their own intelligence and hard work from president to an army personnel level.

Langaniso Mhlobo

You right priority should be Deir Ezzor. I cause there sleeper cell’s coorbinates come from Russian partners USA as their name them.

Tony

Looks more like a large scale raid….doubt they can control much

dutchnational

Excuses, excuses.

When something goes wrong, it is always the fault of someone else.

This one lies on a combination of factors of SAA and Russian own making. On bad decisions and gambles.

But also showing that SAA crack troops are too limited to do all jobs and the too low level of the remainder. It shows too the limitations to the present level of airsupport. It shows too – again – the insufficient level of attention to guarding the flanks and rear.

The surprise to me was that IS has sufficient sleepers cells for coordinated attacks on holding forces and that they could counterattack on this level without being spotted beforehand.

Even given limitations on air surveyance there is also permanent satellite surveyance.

It will be interesting to see what strategic and tactical lessons will be taken. Upgrading the number and training of holding forces should be one of them imo.

John Whitehot

imho the most important lesson is “Don’t believe ISIS propaganda on fridays and saturdays”

dutchnational

One should never believe any propaganda. Neither that of IS, the SAA, Russia, the US and also the SDF.

Propaganda is always lies or a distortion of the truth.

Deo Cass

I don’t give much credit to this propaganda report. ISIS have a tendancy to claim advances which they would have achieved in a surprise attack as actual but in fact they would be outdated and before the Syrian government troops launch their counter offensive to reclaim all lost points. This most probably is the case. For sure the road to Deir Ezzur is completely in the Syrian government hands and reinforcenents are pouring in across the Euphrates river. Whatever the case, Russia and the Syrian airforce have total domination of the airspace and the fact that they failed to prevent such ISIS attacks proves there is a gross incompetance from some high officials in the Russian seirveillance air group tasked with monitoring the situation all over Syria.

Behold a Pale Horse

Guerrilla disruption tactics. ISIS don’t have enough men to hold the ground. The SAA are clearly retreating from attacks and then allowing Russian air power to have a go, before counterattacking. I think this has been working well up to now.

Kell

Yeah stuff Idlib – get the Tigers back and take T2

Kell

T2 needs to be taken – the forces came from there – sad to see but this is the nature of Guerilla warfare where small forces can inflict stunning losses on a much larger force using surprise and mobility, really the SAA is poorly equiped to fight such an enemy and the Israelis and US know this – you have to seize their operating bases ie T2 to stop or push back to the Euphrates their operating range. Something like this would be ideal. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/d0994ef8a7704e0ffff7684b626e6640addf372cc45eed42cf0eb32bdde1a007.jpg

John Whitehot

Ha! the Bronco. It’s a plane I like, but I m not sure it can survive the Syrian theater.

The various jihadist formations have large numbers of technicals (although they lost hundreds) armed with basically everything from 7.62 to 57mm.

Broncos fly low and slow, but they lack the armoring of more powerful planes like SU-25s and A-10s. Weapons like 14.5 ZPUs and 23mm cannons would tear these planes to shreds.

Their role is also mostly covered by helicopter gunships: when the Bronco was designed, there still weren’t very effective attack choppers around, maybe there were the first marks of Cobras and Hinds.

Kell

Yep the 1960s/70s version probably right but a 20mm in the air firing down has more range than a 14.5/23mm firing up and at speed, 30 and 40mm with airburst are now available with even longer range so you could orbit at 5000m or whatever the manpad limit is the Russians work off and fire down plinking targets.

the Bronco in the pic was a NOGs or Night gunship https://youtu.be/P6iI9NfNTpk this would still work especially if coupled with a moving target indicator radar for long patrols over the desert at night.

A Bronco with proper wing length ie not cut in half for carrier ops, 2 pratt 1600 hp turboprops would have exellent range, speed and with modern sensors an exellent patrol counter insurgency aircraft – they are now putting 30mm apache guns on Mowhawks.

https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/08cdfba06ae5089a395f488e7063a5ca4d37e17f98fc9b1a9d5b29034d5d9971.jpg

Kell

With 30mm and 40mm airburst these things in the air could be game changers in counter insurgency situations, against a column of Hiluxes attacking a position or moving at night, devistating

https://youtu.be/4UolMYY7QaA

John Whitehot

How would you see the Argentinian Pucaras? Also in the same “light gunship” role several South American countries are employing turboprop trainers (like the Pilatus PC9, Embraer Tucano etc.). imo they are still too light and frail, one thing is attacking FARC hideouts in jungles, another is ISIS..

Kell

Yeah love the Pucara – they made one with Garret engines and it performed awesomely, probably the best base aircraft than Mowhawk or Bronco, with Pratt/W 1600hp would be brilliant. This is a pic with the Garret TPE-331 1300hps, the original was developed by German sans WWII folk. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/5033dcda570e1edc9d9795100d2f7f704c606ac38b6cc6ca4eb870571d369a88.jpg

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

The problem is these weren’t smaall forces they are operating in smaller groups and upwards of 100-150 in each small group and then meeting up into larger forces of brigade size as times. These are types of assaults are your typical organized Terrorist attacks but far better coordinated with a lot pre-arranged meeting points before the real organized attacks begin.

Kell

Yep typical Guerilla warfare – mass forces and hit positions using surprise then withdraw before firepower can be used against you. Hard to counter for any Army on the planet.

dutchnational

I am a bit confused by the inconsistency of reports on all of this, even here in SF.

Reports yesterday that all attacks by IS have been warded off by SAA and now the report is IS advancing on multiple frontlines.

Is this a question of SAA giving out incorrect statements?

Of SF not verifying SAA statements sufficiently?

Or has IS enough resources to start another wave of attacks?

There are many questions to be asked, many unfounded, or at least unproven, allegations and little if any answers.

To say the least, all of this must have shaken SAA command and already has consequences in Hama and Idlib, halting of SAA activities there.

Kell

IS are reporting attacks on Al Qurayatain deep in SAA territory – maybe propaganda https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/2c1dd259c6b39ab0f2a2801a778b87eff7a51fa033e95bb657e7fe8d140a1aeb.png

dutchnational

It is not propaganda as SAA has acknowledged the attack but claims the attack – by sleeper cells – has been warded off.

So an attack has occurred, status unverified.

John Whitehot

no, I think it’s a question of giving too much credit to whatever ISIS reports.

dutchnational

Read Al Monitor, they just reported IS captured Qaratayn.

John Whitehot

it’s revolting how you root for jihadists and against Christians.

people like you is motivated only by hatred, if I was an hater I’d be here saying that you should see by yourself the treatment of Christians by the ragheads.

But probably we don’t have to wait much for that, since the number of extremist Europe has received with open arms.

In any case, only your jihadist-hugging media so far has stated that ISIS “took the city”. I’d be more prone to believe it has been a terror attack to inflict losses among the civilians.

Also everybody take note: during the weekend jihadist and zionist media raise their tones, probably to exploit the reduced number of journalists working. It’s been two weeks of total HELL for the terrorists and the western scumbags who support them, it’s not surprising that they commit suicidal acts to make appear they are still around.

Graeme Rymill

The main question is:

Has the main M20 supply road been reopened? I think not. The ISIS attacks have been beaten back in most locations but it would appear there is still fighting to the east of Sukhnah. This likely makes the road unusable to supply trucks. It is only a matter of time before it reopens but in the meantime every barrel of diesel, every artillery shell and every ration has to go the long way round. This alone will cause problems for the SAA across the Euphrates in the race for Omar oil and gas.

Ivanus59

Genius decision to move Tiger Forces to west (moving units from a volatile and active front to an inert and stabile front??!?!) -.- Did they get that idea from USA maybe? It really saddens me to see these soldiers suffer and die because of such bullshit. And why don’t they save a bullet to put through their own head as to spare themselves of being butchered by the savages…

Kell

They are talking about an Idlib offensive – bad idea at this particular time I think unless they have indeed done a deal with the US to seed Eastern Syria to the US/Israel.

jason sixx

Omfg not again everytime around fall/xmas time setbacks at palmyra because we ignore the damn buffer ! This time suknah lines southern flank… i been saying it for months it was so obvious it was gna happen

Spectator

Hi All, Remember when there was a total lack of info and photo from SAA ? Just few months ago? The result was Great and SAA and allies recaptured large parts of syrian soil.

Thn when reached DEz, a lot of photos, videos and statments were done by many factions of SAA and allies… results? 10s of SAA and allies dead per day, a Russian General, Few Russian contractors and so on. SAA started a war of word with Kurds than HTS made a big, very very big attack when they tried to capture/kill the 29 russian MP, immagine if they did it!! immagine if Soukhna fell!!! and immagine if Kurds arrives to the Omar Oil Field and that Iraki PMU renunces to secure its border with Syria prefering to wage war against kurds on the other side of Irak!! That would simply be called loss of many different battles and the war would become harder, and the victory will look quite long if not impossible.

I think that Russia made a TRAP to HTS by putting those 29 MP not far from the contact line and letting HTS with hundreds of men and heavy equipment enter 12 KM deep behind ennemy lines. then closed the retread road to those fighters and began scoring points as we never seen before. This was a Victory as we love to see! I think someone should do a full documentary on that battle (after the war ends). So yes, SAA looses countless men per day, yes, they constantly loose check points (and retake them) but advances in all direction.

Yesterday i saw many many videos made by kurdish poeple, special forces … They are NOT afraid of ARABS or Turks. they look very professional “soldiers” with advanced training, good skills, excellent discipline and a very tactical vision. A comander/officier of special kurdish antiterrorist forces

Spectator

Said openly that he respects PMU but noted the elevated deth toll between its members. The explained how much intrest kurdish give to their fighters lives….

this made me think about the fact that : WHERE ARE kurdish video proofs of ded isis fighter?? In the last 9 months they took more lands than the SAA, avoiding colossal loses that SAA/PMU suffers every single day, but i can’t remember serious videos prooving that they massacred ISIS. Even in Raqqa’s battle, the inform that every day between 15 and 40 isis fighter are killed, but never shoes un proofs… QWhat do you think about it guys?

Brother Ma

Finding no sympathy for the some Kurds many are not like these ones and it sad they get grouped in with these whom are only out for themselves. Wish people weren’t so willing to cheat and steal from others.

The best thing right now is for the SAA to defeat these proxies and then expel both the US and PKK/YPG groups. These two groups are pretending to be ISIS sells and conducting terrorist attacks in Syria on civilians, they have caught some from Afrin earlier this year.

Taking back the oil and gas fields in Deir Ezzur and the Syria/Iraq border crossing at Al-Bukamal will give the coup de grace to USIS/SDF colonial terror coalition. All military resources should be thrown on that vital front. The Syrian government forces can return to this front later after they secure the Syria Iraq border thereby cutting all supplies to the US terrorists for good and reclaiming the oil and gas fields on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river.

3 attacks coordinate by USA coalition..1º al qaeda in north hama..2º SDF in deir Ezzor…..3º ISIS in central Homs!…to deter SAA advance towards Omar oil fields!

Cornered rat (thats including US/Israel under gp control) is trying to bite and is still dangerous. But it is a “dead rat walking” anyway. Creatures like dutchnational, joe doe and other keyboard generals get a fresh breath to keep singing their song. But twisting the facts and mudding waters never blinds one who’s able to take one step back and observe the wider picture (both geo and time). This is like boxing – a fighter slides a halfstep back, opponent is reaching and opens up and than “встречный в подбородок” is flying in. This attack will last no longer than every other recent “massive offensives”. Each of this “offensives” are very expensive in terms of isis manpower. But one can’t expect those scumbags to just seat and wait till SAA “зачистит территорию”. They try to fight back and it always look promising (for zio trolls) but it’s a downfalling trend line and some upward jerks here and there, can not change overall picture (if one is willing to observe wider than 1-3 days period). ISIS is falling. Powers that created it (and all other so called terror groups which are in reality funded, trained and armed by government agencies of UK/Israel/US) are loosing control in many ways. They will keep biting here and there but rat is cornered.

Future of humanity is a question of level of awarness of us humans. Those who are able to look at wider picture will realise that each of us is part of one large unity (organism) – Humanity. If one cell is starting to eat adjucent cells this is called canser. There are only two outcomes – canser kiils organism and all the cells die (including those vermin cells that started the mess) or this offensive sells are cut off and dead anyway. That is what is happening to us – the more cells will realise it the more chances we have to survive as Humanity.

Russia had to have seen all these ISIS movement, not question about ti. Russia can have strong answer to thses terrorists, and this is what one is waiting for.

This is certainly bad news. I think that after some months of big successes of the SAA-Russia coalition, things seem to have changed. I think US+proxies have re-evaluated their strategy in Middle East. They have been fighting an unsuccessful campaign to shield their interests. But it seems now they have began taking the war more a lot more seriously. I believe Russia has to invest more in the war and adopt a more aggressive stance towards those who want to carve a new middle east. If the plan goes on undisturbed, the west will once again partition ME to its liking, creating their much needed failed states=buffer zones to drain the profit from the area. Russia will be much more threatened if this happens. So, the whole things revolves around Russia’s stance. By all means, it is up to Russia to decide if money can buy her out of Middle East or if they decide to fight against the West’s plan of global domination. One hundred years after Sykes – Picot, and the same mistakes are gonna happen again. History moves in circles, someone ought to break it.

lololololol how are you going to troll in a few months.

I don’t get your point. Elaborate please or go back to your cave.

Either elaborate or go back to your cave.

Russia should keep drone patrol 24/7 overhead of all its units.Make use of Iranian air support and drones.Cease SDF operation because the legitimate government never invited them.Stop all USA operations this is how USA wants to control Iran and North Korea. But USA white supremacist are firts to be cry babies to their one sided oppression organization UN.

Kell

Indeed in some ways the iranians are ahead of the Russians with Drones and small precision weapons they basically copied from the US, the Us is geared towards counter insurgency and the Iranians taking the lead here is a good thing in relation to the Syrian situation, hopefully the Russians will learn and work towards more drone tech and precision weaponry – removing grid squares is wastefull and inefficient in anything other than a mass attack on a Central European or Chinese theater.

John Whitehot

dude, having large armed drones does not necessarily mean they are more advanced. It depends on the usage of the drones your country / alliance doctrine calls for.

Russian drones employed in Syria are designed to be embedded in the reconaissance assets of mid to low echelon formations. They are light, small and cheap – in addition their signature is basically zero – which means that they are very unlikely to be spotted and shot down.

There are larger models, possibly armed, in development, but the reality of the area is that Russia does not need to deploy them because the airspace isn’t contested.

The same cannot be said about yanks and israelis, which have to perform covert terrorist strike on the Syrian loyal troops and cannot afford to lose pilots in the process.

Of course we don’t have access to data on US and Israeli drones losses, but collating several news from the latest months gives out the impression that they are being blown out of the sky at a very large rate.
