ISIS announced on June 10 that its cells had assassinated Khalid al-Bakhatrah, a field commander of the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU).
According to the terrorist group’s news agency, Amaq, al-Bakhatrah was shot and killed in the area of Al-Mada’in, south of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad. Amaq shared photos of the commander’s dead body, his rifle and military ID.
The PMU has not commented on the assassination, yet. This indicates that al-Bakhatrah was not a senior commander in the Shiite-led coalition.
Iraqi government forces have the capital and its outskirt under complete control. Nevertheless, ISIS maintains few cells around the city.
The assassination of al-Bakhatrah signs that ISIS is trying to boost its presence around the Iraqi capital. The terrorist group failed to establish any foothold near the capital even at the height of its power in 2014.
Why do you insist on calling them ‘ISIS’ for fucks sake?
ISIS, Israel and the US always seem to share the same enemies.
Death to American American controled Zionistic muppets Wahhabis. It is strange. Everytime Americans gets theirs faces busted, ISIS ‘American enemy no1’ come over and protect theirs ‘enemies’, american pigs.
