ISIS Attack In Aleppo Claimed Lives Of Several Syrian Soldiers

On November 19, ISIS terrorist raided a position of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) near the town of Dwrihem in Aleppo’s southern countryside.

ISIS news agency, Amaq, said the terrorists stormed the small position after killing three Syrian soldiers. The terrorists set the position on fire and burned a pick-up armed with a machine gun before retreating back to their hideouts.

“The Mujahedeen returned to their positions safe and sound,” Amaq said in a report released on November 21.

The attack was most likely launched from the Homs desert, which lays between western Deir Ezzor and eastern Homs. Hundreds of ISIS terrorists are taking shelter in the region.

The terrorists intensified their attacks in the eastern Hama and southern Raqqa over the last few weeks. Now they are apparently working to expand their operations to cover the southern and southeastern countryside of Aleppo.

A day earlier, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that seven pro-government fighters went missing while moving from the town of Maskanah to Dayr Hafir in southeastern Aleppo. The fighters may have been attacked by ISIS terrorists.

ISIS has succeeded in moving the battlefield from the Homs desert to the Hama-Aleppo-Raqqa triangle. Meanwhile, the SAA and its allies are yet to take decisive action.

And as always, the SAA didn’t fire a single shot, kill/wound any attackers or even pursue after them when they retreated back to their hideouts. Amazing.

John Wallace

As this report came from ISIS itself it is hardly likely they would say they shit their pants in the attack and report any return fire or casualties would they. Doesn’t mean shit.

Yeah, I know. I was kind of being sarcastic!

John Wallace

sorry , sarcasm is a little hard to read at times but it now makes sense.. :-))

Id’ say Isis is now operating closer to home, they’re probably shortening the logistic routes to Turkish occupied Syria where most of their supplies come from. I keep remembering all those video and photo images the Russians so kindly provided us with a few years ago, they were photos and videos of hundreds of oil smuggling trucks being blown up by Russian forces. Those videos were absolutely beautiful to watch [the Russians kindly gave the truckies warnings to run for their lives before they hit them], and the Russians also provided a few damning statements as well, they told us the Turks were helping Isis smuggle the oil to Turkey, and they told us Erdogan’s son bought it and refined it for illegal sales. So what happened, did they stop supporting Isis did they, is that why Russia is doing political deals with Turkey now, they must know for sure Erdogan’s not doing deals with Isis any more But I don’t know that, in fact I think the Russians have got it all wrong, I’m pretty sure Erdogan does still do deals with Isis, and SF helped to convince me of the fact, they showed me photos of new FSA moderate opposition forces that Turkey officially supports, still wearing Isis emblems and carrying Isis flags, that’s a bit of a give away that Turkey and Erdogan still support Isis.

ISIS never bothered to engage in smuggling oil because it was more cost effective to sell oil to anyone that showed up with a tanker with the cash to fill it up and let them worry about making the delivery without being bombed or hijacked by an opposition group or the SAA to sell.
