Five ISIS suicide bombers attacked the Kiwan military base operated by Kurdish Peshmerga forces and the US military in Iraq.

The ISIS-linked news agency Amaq claimed that the base was being used by US forces to oversee landing operations against important ISIS sites or commanders in Syria and Iraq. Amaq said that the base includes 2,000 US soldiers who arrived two months ago.

Amaq claimed that ISIS members managed to destroy two Humvee vehicles during the attack after infiltrating the base. One of the attackers blew himself up at the entrance to the base. Two suicide bombers blew up themselves with some Peshmerga forces inside the base. Amaq argued that the clashes continued for two hours ending with the killing of all the attackers.

According to published photos, the attackers appeared to be mostly young men or even teenagers.

After major defeats in Iraq and Syria, ISIS started to use teenage militants to launch operations against the terrorist group’s enemies.

On Wednesday another group ISIS suicide bombers attacked several positions inside the Syrian city of Hasaka, controlled by US-backed Kurdish forces.

It’s interesting how all of the suicide bombers have clearly visible faces except the fourth one from left in the top picture, as well as the two instructors in black in the second picture, that despite that they wear head covers their faces are blurred, could that possibly indicate that those are foreign intelligence operatives …?

VGA

They cover all faces except the ones that took part in the attack (because they will be dead anyway)

We ‘ve seen a lot of pics and vids around the web showing “martyrs” before their “martyrdom”, smiling as they get in the cars they’d drive to their deaths. there must be another reason

Barba_Papa

Those vids exist to properly inspire others with their sacrifice of course. They probably won’t show the vids where the ‘martyrs’ weren’t so enthusiastic, crying or plainly needed more more ‘convincing’.

John Whitehot

it could be, I dunno. Something tells me that the reason why they blurred some people in the pics happened after they were taken, because conversely, they would not had photographed those particular individuals.

zman

Yes, I agree. The US gov is not the only ones with facial recognition software. Hell, even facebook might be able to identify these people were their images not blurred. Outing their true identities is not in their interests. The faces of the fodder are of no consequence, alive or dead.

VGA

That’s what I am saying. They are showing the faces of the ones who did the attack and died. Not the other faces.

There is a sense that IS has been given up, and IS sense it too. They have become just cannon-fodder. So they now only go for maximum chaos and foreign operatives’ faces will be covered in media because they will be “rescued” at some point and can’t be identifiable from photos. Just shows it is a complete sham.

The attack was launched from Hawija pocket in Iraq. Maybe that the Jihadist don’t want their faces to be seen by Iraqi security forces. The front lines seem to be rather porous there. This area will be taken after Mosul ops are finished.

goingbrokes

Yes, and I was thinking specifically Israeli operatives who do not want some new-fangled device in the future to be able to identify them as part of the IS, i.e. international criminals. In fact they are probably international criminals even before IS, so it is just a habit they have developed to blur pictures of themselves.

zman

International criminals usually referred to as IDF, Mossad, CIA, NATO…you get the point. Yes, can’t have that facial recognition software getting a good look at eyes, ears and nose can we.

Red Tick Alert

It says there were “Five ISIS suicide bombers”, maybe as you state, the protected one was their Saudi or whatever instructor ?.

Hanny Benny

poor dumb childsoldiers.. sick deathcult..

Barba_Papa

Have at least some pity, these kids have been under ISIS rule for years. They’ve probably been at the receiving end of constantly brainwashing.

Hanny Benny

i agree with you, my comment was not to insult them

Omar Huss

The hidden faces are ?? May be friends from Golan heights side!

zman

Or Saudis, Americans, Brits, Qataris, French, Dutch, Danes, Ukrainians, German, Polish, Romanian, Turkish….anything but Syrian.

gustavo

you missed USA (CIA or Pentagone).

zman

I truly feel for these young people. There is no telling what they have been through and the techniques they’ve been subjected to. They are no more than fodder to be sacrificed to further the scam, their lives mean nothing. They should ask themselves ‘if martyrdom is so desirable’, then why aren’t their pious leaders leading on point? CIA and their counterparts did not invest in mind control for nothing. Ditto on all the comments here on the hidden faces. Even were they not able to be identified as to name, they would likely stand out as westerners. What is more likely and even more important, they don’t even want their fodder to know their leaders are the same as ‘the enemy’.
