Just a few hours after a U.S. airstrike on Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions in southern Deir Ezzor, ISIS fighters launched a major attack in the very same area.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that a group of the besieged ISIS fighters on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River crossed to the other side and launched an attack on several positions of the SAA and its allies. In the same time, another group of terrorists attacked the army from the direction of the Homs desert. Both attacks were reportedly repelled.
“11 fighters of the group [ISIS] were killed, including three suicide bombers who blew themselves up,” the SOHR said in a report on February 3.

According to the UK-based monitoring group, ISIS fighters were trying to open a route in order to escape from their besieged positions in the middle Euphrates River Valley to the terrorist group’s pocket in the Homs desert. However, the attempt failed.
The US-led coalition hit an artillery position of the SAA in the area injuring two service members several hours before the terrorist group’s attack. The timing of the coalition airstrike suggests that it may have triggered the attack.

There is no question that the behavior of the Israelis is hateful and wrong. For a millenia Jews and Christians and Zoroastrians and Muslims lived peacefully in Palestine. This attack looks like an effort by the Jews to get the goy to do the Jew’s dirty work for them. So that the Syrian government coalition fights the US and Syria’s other neighbors rather than Israel. These US led coalition attacks are originating out of 1 or more of 3 places. Turkey, Iraq or Jordan. They all need to be put on notice that the same counter measures being used to suppress Israeli attacks can be used against them as well if they support attacks against Syria by allowing their bases and airspace to be used to attack Syria.
Which includes shooting down planes and missiles in their air space, and hitting their bases being used by the US led coalition that the attacks against Syria are originating out of. Syria is potentially capable of laying waste to the IDF on an as needed basis to stop the attacks against it. Enough conventional and nuclear firepower can be stockpiled in Syria without straining Russia’s national security to do the same thing to Syria’s neighbors if they’re going to continue to collaborate with the Jews on attacking Syria.
What this attack on Syria appears to indicate. Is that the Jews have determined that they can’t handle the escalation suppression that they’d be subjected to if they continue attacking Syria. And are trying to get their US bully boy to take their place.
Unlike Israel, none of Syria’s other neighbors want to fight Syria. Iraq and Jordan in particular. Which is probably where these airstrikes originated out of. Though they may have come from Turkey as well. They all need to be put on notice, as does the US and it’s coalition partners, that as the Syrian government coalition’s position strengthens. That taking down aircraft and missiles attacking Syria. And hitting the bases that they’re originating from. Is now on the table. And that these options will be utilized on an as needed basis until the attacks are discontinued. And forces illegally in Syria are withdrawn.
Syria’s 3 battalions of S-300/400s can be augmented with additional units on an as needed basis. Russia has 2,000 of these launchers in active service. They form the back bone of Russia’s domestic air defense system. And probably more in reserve. They’ve provided Syria with 24 late model launchers, 8 launchers per battalion. They could double this with it having little or no effect on Russian domestic security. Which in addition to what is currently in stock. Can also be augmented with new production at a nominal cost.

Syria’s S-300/400s are unproven in combat at this time. At least what is known via open source material. Though it wouldn’t be unrepresented if they’re already been used successfully, or have been used and failed, and that this information has remained classified for security purposes.
If they’re half as effective as the Pantsir, Buk and other systems which now reportedly have a 75% to 100% success rate of interdicting targets in Syrian airspace. Which is probably being augmented by EW & ECM capabilities. Then they pose a severe threat to planes, crews and bases being used to attack Syria. Not just in Israel, but Syria’s other neighbors who are complicit in these attacks.
With up to a 250 mile range. The vast majority of Syria’s neighbor’s territories are within the range of these S-300/400 systems when loaded with the longer range missiles. And there are probably even longer range missiles available.
