On December 12, ISIS terrorists conducted a surprise attack against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) on the western bank of the Euphrates in the province of Deir Ezzor.

According to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq, members of ISIS entered the vilalges of al-Jalaa, Saiyal, Salihiyah, Mujawdah and Abbas. The village of al-Harsa is also allegedly under attack.

While anti-government sources argue that ISIS established a full control over the aforementioned villages, pro-government sources claim that the SAA are now clashing with ISIS units inside them.

The SAA is not deploying reifnrocements to the area in order to repel the ISIS attack.

This was the second large ISIS attack against the SAA in the area over the past few days.

On December 11, ISIS attacked positions of the SAA near al-Bukamal. Then, the attack was repelled but the SAA suffered some losses in the equipment and manpower.

Pro Trump militants ISIS ATTACKS SYRIAN ARMY ON WESTERN BANK OF EUPHRATES, ENTERS FEW VILLAGES.

Sham Crown

Tehran, you may visit them as you like young persian mullah for a sleeping partner

Richard M

You have much interest in who I am sleeping with. Perhaps you are some sort of Deviated Prevert!

MichaelE

Did IS appear out of thin air or did strong forces of them cross the Euphrate river? I think, it was a bit early to state Syria as Daesh-free.

Deo Cass

They came from the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river. They were helped by the US which gave them cover.

Garga

Basically a terror force which is surrounded on all sides, badly beaten in both Syria and Iraq and apparently no way of replenishing their destroyed combatants and weapons, manages to perform a powerful attack from the other side of the river. I wonder how they managed to gather this force with arms and munitions.

As long as one square km of Syrian soil remains under US and it’s proxies’ occupation we should expect these things. They just refill ISIS and send it to do their bidding for perpetual war. Too bad they have Iraq in their claws and do not let the situation to calm down.

Icarus Tanović

They don’t have Iraq, like they used to.

Rob

Pro Trump militants Israel have attacked inside Palestinian areas by using airstrikes and tank projectiles. Which killed five children in the streets and wounded sixteen others. Public and private properties have also been damaged.

Deo Cass

The true dynamic of the terrorisys attack is as follows. A large contingent of ISIS who rebranded themselves to the terror outfit from SDF were helped to cross the Euphrates river at night from the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river by the US invasion forces and their foreign Kurdish allies who also gave them cover. Some sources are claimng that the Syrian government forces repelled the attack. However it is obvious that unless the Russian and Syrian aircraft obliterate the US backed terrorists on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river, these attacks will become more frequent and to deadlier effect. Russia needs for once to show they have guts and show the Americans that they have a right to fly anywhere in Syria’s airspace, unlike the US colonial invasion and occupation forces.

wimroffel

One can expect more of those attacks. The SAA is moving troops to Idlib and even to Daraa. So they are weak in Deir Ezzor.

888mladen .

How many more surprises are we going to see?

John Whitehot

lol, ask your friends at amaq.

888mladen .

Where are now those who were dead certain SAA could handle it without RU troupes? I think SAA has to pull up itself by shoe laces.

Joe

Hello, just one attack you conclude Assad cannot handle? Naive.

These to be dead soon zombies will not last long.

No one can anticipate as they can be underground or just those newly converted SDF now reverting to ISIS . This is to mock fun at Russia and same time justify US to stay in Syria.

When are they going to start talking ..

So that the Kids can decide to join Assad or be history partnering with a sure loser

Wegan

No one is safe from the US not even their allies. Now imagine your are the enemy of the US and you have US bases in your territory.

888mladen .

It seems like nobody has balls to stand up against US. Everybody is dead scared of sanctions. US Illuminati do as they please. That’s how it is whether you like it or not.

Joe

Did you see Iran scared?

Assad maybe, not Iran

Rüdiger Preiss

This doesn’t come to surprise. The US need a reason for their presence, especially after Russians have declared that they are pulling out

Wegan

I checked the iranian, turkish, arabic websites. There is no mention of this. Could be fake news. If it is not then it is probably SDF wearing different colors now. That will certainly prompt a move from other forces in the region. Hopefully the Kurds are not shooting themselves in the foot again, but I guess they can’t help it. When your benefactor says do, you do.

Langaniso Mhlobo

If the terrorist get corner their become SDF = ISIS. When the Russian drone stop operating their change uniform. Both ISIS and SDF attacks Syrian government forces.

As long as USA is in Syria terrorism won’t stop no peace will prevail.
