On October 29, ISIS fighters attacked the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) positions in the strategic Omar oil fields in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside, according to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq. Six fighters of the SDF were killed during the attack, according to Amaq.

From its side, Kurdish sources said that the SDF repelled ISIS attack on Omar oil fields. The sources said that the SDF fighters killed 18 fighters of ISIS. Moreover, the SDF destroyed an armored vehicle, and two vehicles armed with 23mm guns of ISIS during the clashes in the oil fields.

Meanwhile, the US-led coalition announced that its warplanes destroyed a position, and a vehicle of ISIS near al-Bukamal city on October 26. US-led coalition warplanes also destroyed a VBIED factory, three positions, a vehicle and a headquarter of ISIS around Deir Ezzor city.
The US-led coalition aistrikes on the last ISIS stronghold in Syria, al-Bukamal city indicate that the collation is indeed serious about capturing the strategic city on the Syrian-Iraqi border.

These are the ones who refused to wear SDF colors and apparently are attacking the ones who did.
The US and it’s proxies are dead serious about capturing Al-BuKamal. They’ll do whatever they can to prevent Syria connecting to Iraq via a safe road. I think if they cannot get there before SAA, they will attack SAA. They’ll probably attack PMS as well, considering adding it’s brave commander’s name (Abu-Mahdi Al-Muhandis) into the terror list recently to have a justification.
Syrian and Iraqi airforce NEEDS to be in the air around Al-Buckmal 24 hours a day so as to not allow US warplanes into the area! This is where things get really heated up!

I agree with Ronald, Putin never said that! It was just media speculation! However, the last time Putin ordered planes to return to Russia they did so by showing SU-34’s landing in Russia but they just sent back more SU-24’s and SU- 30’s.
From what I understand, The Russian’s have sent Mig-29’s (the latest variant) which are perfect for dog fights! Up against F-15’s, F-16’s and F-18 super hornets it should do very well as it was made to defeat the F-16. Ive heard they want to use the Deir Ezoir Airport for this but could just as easily use the T-4 airbase!
I think this is the most important moment in all of the war! The transit route connection between Iran, Iraq and Syria and even to Lebanon! This will contain Israel thus give the Russians more to bargain with since they themselves are being contained in Eastern Europe!
It won’t be the Russians containing Israel though! But they will be the only nation who will be able to talk to the Iranians and strike up deals!
I have a feeling though that Syria might fake a forward move for Al-Buckmal and go straight for Al-Tanf since this area is heavily surrounded North, east, west and south!
This will grant them the Bagdad-Damascus Hwy!
But even if the Russian’s don’t fly in the sky above Al-Buckmal, the Syrians certainly could and at the very least ward off any attacks coming from US aircraft but would most likely be shot out of the sky! But if they can put up a lot of aircraft then that would be fine!
But if the Russians were up there (keep in mind its on the eastern side of the Euphrates, then the US would want to be very hesitant! If just one Russian jet was shot down, the Russians would begin launching Surface to air missiles and completely ground all US Aircraft creating an Aerial denial bubble made up of electronic warfare technology, Surface to air missiles, Mig-31 interceptors, attack subs at the ready amongst US naval ships! The only way for the US to have a chance would be to escalate into a much bigger war against Russia by launching 200 or so cruise missiles to take out Russian air defence systems in which we would then be at World War 3!
Russian aircraft in the air above Al-Buckmal would be the one thing to ensure security! Syrians needs to utilise their interceptor aircraft Mig-25 and Mig-31!
Russians would guard the skies with Mig-29 latest variants to use as expendable aircraft and perhaps even get sales of them if they perform their duties well!
I really think this is the most important moment in the war. Oil is no big deal when these can be taken back later! But the transit routes are so key for the Syrians to defend themselves against Israel and for Iran to finally turn the tied!
Then we can say for sure that this Western Created ISIS and Al-Nusra idea has backfired! And now Israel will pay a heavy price!
Sure I think Israel will go to war against Syria, but its a war that can fuck Israel up very badly! Iranian mobile Ballistic missile systems with Iranian made air defence systems all under the umbrella of Russian S-400’s and Iskander-M / K’s! (not that the Russians would use them unless Israel directly attacked them)
Lets hope the airspace is riddled with SyAf aircraft with a handful of Russian Mig-29’s.

even if SAa loose Albukamal border . Iraqi army will not open that border al qim with Syria if SDF in control. Iraqi army and SAA will build new border area in the same place where Iraq and Syria will deal each other. and again SDF will be isolatedfrom Iraq. cuz Iraq will close all border connecting to SDF in Dier zor area.
