On February 28, ISIS fighters conducted a hit and run attack on several positions of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) northeast of the village of al-Shaafah in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside, near the Syrian-Iraqi border.
According to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq, ISIS fighters burned three positions of the SDF, killed thirteen SDF fighters and captured four others. Moreover, ISIS fighters destroyed a bulldozer of the US-backed forces around al-Shaafah with an ATGM.

Meanwhile, an official twitter account of the SDF reported that US-led coalition warplanes had destroyed positions of ISIS in the al-Melh oil well near al-Shaafah as well as in al-Bukhater. “Many” ISIS fighters were killed in the two airstrikes, according to the source.
From its side, Amaq claimed that thirty civilians, mainly women and children, had been killed in an airstrike of the US-led coalition, which had targeted an area west of al-Shaafah. Syrian opposition activists supported ISIS’ claims.
The US-led coalition airstrikes indicate that al-Shaafah is the next target of the SDF. If the SDF captures this village, ISIS will likely be forced to withdraw from its last stronghold on the eastern bank of the Euphrates valley, the town of Hajin – located 15km north of al-Shaafah.
Well, Turkish attack on Afrin has drawn away some SDF forces from the DeZ countryside and IS is profiting from the help they got from their long time supporters.

Whoops…. While US backed forces were busy concentrating their attacks on Syrians, Isis, remember them, decided to strike. Looks like the US backed terrorists will now actually have to start fighting Isis. Who knows, next time the US comments about fighting Isis, rather than air lifting them to other locations to fight Syrians, they may actually be telling the truth. Can you imagine that?
It is possible I suppose that the US could give a truthful account but I would not like to put money on it :) It is likely that the remaining ISIS are so deranged by taking Captigon etc that they are akin to rabid dogs and just attack everything. Even their past masters from the US :)

Truth an the US are not happy bedfellows! The US is much happier, with crime, duplicity, chicanery, dishonesty, lying and anything underhand and very dirty.
A positive reaction to the US descent into internecine squabbling and depravity, is that all such empires in history have collapsed under their own weight.
I listened to a log address by President Putin today where he spoke about the rebirth of Russia since the Soviet Union Collapsed under its own weight.
Towards the end he was showing the huge advances and advantages that Russia now possesses to combat the US Nuclear aggression and the broken promises of NATO not to approach the Russian borders.
He said that he had been trying to reason with the Americans but that they will not compromise in any way. He then described with videos the current Russian missiles to counter the US threat.
President Putin then said ‘ They ( the USA ) will listen to us now . :)

The Russians will have to be prepared and the Anglo – American Zionist Bankster – Corporatist Cabal the controls the US and EU are constantly upping the ante and rhetoric to inititate war with Russia in the Ukraine and Syria simultaneously. Russia will need to be well prepared and have excellent defences as the so called “West” is now prepared to do anything to go to war, however crackers it may seem to most people who are just horrified bystanders.
