On October 16, ISIS terrorists made another step en route to a total collapse in the city of Deir Ezzor. According to pro-government sources, the Syrian Arab army (SAA) and its allies made a notable gains against ISIS terrorists inside the city liberating Kenamat, Khassarat and the oild airport area.
If these reports are true, the SAA divided the ISIS-held area in the northern part of Deir Ezzor into two separate parts. This is a common move for government troops assisted by Russian forces. It has been repeatedly implemented in many clashes with terrorists across Syria.
Now, the SAA will likely focus on ISIS terrorists blocked in the Industrial Centre, al-Sina and Saqr Island in the eastern part of the pocket. When this area is liberated, government forces will be able to liberate the rest of the city.

Someone (maybe SANA, for ex) needs to take a poll in Deir Ezzor, with just one question: When you were living under siege, who were you hoping would come and rescue you? Choose one: 1. Russia and the SAA, or 2: the US coalition?

The reason ISIS is so evil , is their Wahhabi belief of ” Taqfiri ” . Specifically that means , all other Muslims must be converted to Salafism ( Wahhabi Sunni Islam ), or be killed as “apostates” . Christians , Hindus , Buddhists etc. etc. are considered “apostates”. Hence Syria’s army is 20 % Christian , 20 % Shia and 60 % Sunni . we are witnessing again the brilliant strategy of the Russian-Syrian generals……divide the opossing forces to seperate groups, cut their ability to supply ,send reenforcements where they are needed etc…..then establish a kill zone and start the extermination of all rats.
