Map Update: ISIS Carries Series Of Attacks In Egypt’s North Sinai Amid Escalation In Gaza Strip

• The ISIS-linked news agency Amaq released a series of statements claiming that ISIS had carried out IED attacks in the area of al-Arish. According to the Amaq claims, at least 7 Egyptian service members were killed, and a vehicle and a buldozer were destroyed.
• Egyptian authorities have referred 28 terror suspects in two separate cases to court on charges of joining local affiliates of ISIS and al-Qaida.
• The Egyptian Army and security forces continue a combing operation against ISIS cells in the desert.
• Egyptian forces have strengthened security efforts on the border with the Gaza Strip as Israel continues strikes on the enclave.
