ISIS cells ambushed a vehicle carrying several personnel of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside. The terrorists opened fire at the vehicle while it was passing through the town of al-Tayyana.
The terrorist group’s news agency, Amaq, claimed that five SDF fighters were killed in the attack. The victims’ vehicle was also destroyed.
In the last few weeks, ISIS stepped up its attacks against the SDF in Deir Ezzor, Raqqa and al-Hasakah. On March 2, a suicide attacker of the group stormed a base of US-backed forces southeast of the city of Raqqa. Several SDF fighters and local tribal leaders were killed in the attack
This recent wave of terrorist attacks is a clear attempt by ISIS cells to support their besieged comrades in the Middle Euphrates River Valley. The terrorists are holding onto their last positions there despite a fierce attack by the SDF and its main backer, the US-led coalition.
The SDF’s security forces, commonly known as Asayish, have intensified their operations against ISIS cells. However, the terrorist group’s influence in northeastern Syria is still strong.

Winning wars is not the same as making peace.
Kurds (USA-Israel puppets) are still on problems. Well, let us wait until all ISIS fighters be transported by USA-Israel to Afganistan.
