The ISIS linked news agency Amaq has released two statements claiming responsibility for the Sunday mass shooting in the US city of Las Vegas.
Amaq argued that the invoved gunman, Stephen Paddock, was one of the terrorist group’s “soldiers” and was convered to Islam “few months ago”.

On Sunday night, Paddock armed with an automatic riffle opened fire on an outdoor music festival on the Las Vegas Strip from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay casino. At least 50 people were killed and over 400 injured as a result of the attack, according to the recent reports.
According to initial reports, he was killed by police. Some sources reported he shot himself dead.

However, the US authorities don’t describe the incident as a terrorist attack. The MSM has already started reporting that US sources see “no connection” between Paddock and any foreign militant group.
