UPDATE 2: The Russian Defense Ministry has commented the ISIS claims saying that the Mi-28 Russian combat chopper made an emergency landing due to malfunction. The Mi-28’s crew is not hurt. The service members were brought to an airfield.

Early on October 6, reports appeared that ISIS allegedly downed an unknown helicopter near Wadi al-Lozaib near the Salamiyah highway in the eastern Hama countryside.
Following the reports, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq claimed that ISIS members downed a “Russian helicopter” near Shaykh Hilal in eastern Hama.
No additional details or photos providing from the alleged crash site are available now.

Whilst the US is rushing to take the Omar oil fields and attempt to create a buffer between the Iraqi and Syrian borders, they are ordering isis (as well as supporting them with intel and military aid) to attack the SAA to slow it down! Suddenly after the US gets an agreement with ISIS, this is reported by the Russian MOD:
The Russian Defense Ministry posted aerial footage showing US equipment deployed at ISIS positions north of Deir Ezzor city.
In a post on its Facebook page, the Ministry said US Special Operations Forces units enable US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) units to smoothly advance through the ISIS formations.
Facing no resistance of the ISIS militants, the SDF units are advancing along the left shore of the Euphrates towards Deir Ezzor.
“The aerial photographs, taken on September 8-12, 2017 in the areas of Daesh troops’ deployment, detected a big number of US Hummer armored vehicles, used by the US Army’s special forces,” the ministry wrote on its Facebook page.
The Defense Ministry added that the footage clearly showed that the units of US Army’s special forces were deployed in the footholds previously set up by ISIS militants. However, no signs of ongoing clashes with terrorists, as well as shell craters left after the coalition’s airstrikes were seen.
Despite the strongholds of the US armed forces being located where Daesh militants are currently deployed, there are not even signs of the organization of a battle outpost. This shows that all the US servicemen who are currently there, feel completely safe in the areas under the terrorists control,” the ministry outlined.
So it all falls into a perfect timeline!
1.August 18 the US panics and makes a DEAL or ORDERS ISIS handlers to make way for the US backed forces as the SAA is gaining ground FAST! SAA surrounds ISIS and creates 2 pockets in central Syria and gains ground towards DeZ!
2. By September 3 the SAA is extremely close to DeZ with massive gains in just 2 weeks!!!
3. September 8, PROOF US special forces have bases within isis territory as SDF forces face ZERO RESISTANCE as they head towards DeZ!
