ISIS fighters have ambushed a large force of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) near the al-Bishri mount on the administrative border between Homs and Deir Ezzor, the terrorist group’s news agency, Amaq, reported on April 19.
The ambush, which reportedly occurred in the early hours of April 18, targeted a force of the SAA that was chasing several ISIS cells. Amaq said that the clashes lasted for more than 24 hours.
“As a result of the ambush, 3 officers and 17 personnel of the Syrian military and its militias were killed and others were injured. 4 vehicles were also destroyed. The fighters of the Islamic State captured 7 4×4 vehicles, two machine guns and a variety of weapons,” Amaq’s press release reads.
Earlier this week, ISIS fighters killed 15 Syrian service members in an attack in the eastern Homs countryside. Syrian pro-government sources said that the force, which was ambushed near the al-Basihri mount, was chasing the attack perpetrators. The sources added that the ambush was a failure.
This new attack reflects the growing ISIS activities around the Homs desert, where hundreds of highly-experienced, well-armed terrorists are reportedly hiding.

Apparently now there are unconfirmed reports saying the Daesh have re-captured parts of Palmyra city. Seems like wiping out the vermin is going to be impossible!
We used to debate isis a lot, and ideologically crush them, but now isis is actually more focused on nato and now regime and less on AQ Taliban and HTS.
So isis is not our worry anymore (just a headache for zios nato and now Regime), they will still be around, but now they are ideologically back under AlQaeda control, because ideologically baghdadi cant even show his face (ideologically weaker than AQ Taliban HTS, but not ideologically weaker than zios nato or even regime, and surpisingly more on par with Iran level ideology despite Iran having access to such dope Hadith).

I find it amusing these reports never state that any Daesh fighters are killed?!?! So we are supposed to believe that not only can they survive out in the desert with limited supplies of food and drink and seemingly vanish when the area’s they hide out in are combed during SAA security operations, but that they can commit successful attacks on the SAA and NOT LOSE a single fucking soldier?!!! If there was any proof that these guys are not only indestructible, have superhuman agility, possess magical powers and have unlimited ammunition then this is truly it.
And now there are unconfirmed reports that jolly old Daesh have now retaken parts of Palmyra city. Way to go SAA. You rock!!!!
