ISIS terrorists have repelled a large attack by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies on their hideouts in Hama’s far east, according to the ISIS propaganda wing – Amaq News Agency.
A large, heavily armed force of the SAA launched the attack on December 14. Amaq said the terrorists held onto their positions in the desert and were able to repel the attack following heavy clashes.
“The fighters of the Islamic State were able to burn down a military truck, killing three soldiers and injured ten others who were aboard it,” Amaq quoted an ISIS source as saying.
Amaq claimed that the SAA withdrew from the battlefield under the cover of warplanes, which carried out a series of airstrikes on the region.
The warplanes were most likely from the Russian Aerospace Forces. Russian warplanes have been hammering ISIS hideouts in the Homs desert and its vicinity for the last few days.
Over the last year, ISIS terrorists expanded their influence in central Syria. The terrorists moved out of the Homs desert and established footholds in eastern Hama, eastern Raqqa and western Deir Ezzor. From there, the terrorists launched dozens of attacks on Syrian government forces.
The SAA and its allies are making immense effort to counter the growing threat of ISIS in central Syria. Nevertheless, the terrorist group is not backing down by any means.
Russia is collaborating with the Turks and their Muslim terrorist allies. As long as Russians, Americans and Turks stay in Syria, there will be Islamic terror in Syria.
Ok Shlomo… How is the greater Israel Project going…? Oy vey…?
You seem to be against everybody
It’s hard not to be, when you value truth and justice above all, whereas most people are intent on creating and inflicting the greatest amount of suffering possible.
You know, you and I agree on many things, except God. I’ll still answer your previous questions.
You left out Iran, they have to go too.
ISIS celebrates successfully repelling SAA from Syria.
In an upcoming CIA funded Disney movie…
More CIAisis propaganda lies. Hope they ate their last poptart because tomorrow there will be roasted CIAisis…
That’s what Amaq News Agency tells us but who do you believe, the independent/opposition news sources say something totally different, they actually say this happened instead.
16th and 17th Dec,
“Dead and wounded militia of the government and Russia as a result of clashes between them and ISIS operatives in the Itheria desert in the eastern Hama countryside”.
“E. Syria: today clashes for control of several villages W. of Ithriya ended after several days, following ISIS withdrawal. A soldier was also killed by an IS mine/IED & 3 more wounded in E. Hama desert”.
Which gives the impression that several small villages were already under Isis control either by capture or voluntary allegiance, and today they’ve just been displaced by the SAA. I hope the reports from syrialiveuamaps are correct and the SF article is just Isis propaganda, the SAA need a good win and this would be a good win if it’s true.
