French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner announced that the suspect was “neutralized,” on his Twitter.
Cet individu correspondait au signalement de la personne recherchée mardi soir.

Ce dernier s’est alors retourné, faisant face aux fonctionnaires de police, en tirant.

“At 21:00 [on December 13th], a crew of a 3 specialized field brigade officers from @PoliceNat67 [National Police of Bas-Rhin] saw a suspicious individual roaming the highway at the level of 74 rue du Lazaret.”
“The individual fit the description of the suspect hunted following Tuesday [December 11th] night. They stopped him.”
“The latter then turned and opened fire on the police officers. They retaliated and neutralized the assailant.”
In an interview with Europe1 on the morning of December 14th, he expressed his pain and support for the victims and their families. He also expressed his pride of the French police and gendarmes, as well as the special forces who did everything they could do neutralize the attacker.

He also defended the fiches “S” [S card] system, as an intelligence tool and that simply saying “We can remove it and it will be better,” is similar to saying “We should break the thermometer to cure the illness.”
He furthermore, used the chance to speak against the violent protests:
“Yesterday [December 13th] evening, I was in the streets of Strasbourg, I saw the people of France applaud our police, I saw the people salute their exemplary action. And tomorrow, are we going to throw stones at them? That, I will never tolerate.”
Also, on December 13th, ISIS Amaq news agency said that the attacker from Strasbourg “was an Islamic State soldier and carried out the operation in response to calls for targeting citizens of coalition countries” fighting the militant group in Syria and Iraq.
Immediately following the attack, the leader of the Rassemblement National (RN) party, Marine Le Pen described the attack as an “Islamist massacre,” calling for “radical change” in the country’s response to terrorism. Such as expulsion of foreigners flagged under the S card systems, among other solutions.
She shared her opinion on Twitter: “Expulsion of foreigners, closure of Salafist mosques, deprivation of nationality: following the attack on #Strasbourg, we demand firm measures to fight Islamist terrorism!”
? RT ! Expulsion des fichés S étrangers, fermeture des mosquées salafistes, déchéance de nationalité : suite à l'attaque de #Strasbourg, nous exigeons des mesures de fermeté pour lutter contre le terrorisme islamiste !

Laurent Wauquiez, leader of the conservative party Les Républicains, implicitly agreed: “How many more attacks committed by fichés-S must we go through before adapting our laws to the fight against terrorism? What are we waiting for to finally wage a battle against the fundamentalism that declared war on us?”
#Strasbourg https://t.co/CclSgQzXQZ

Prior to “neutralizing the attacker,” the manhunt led to a tightening of border control, with the German federal police putting up controls at several border crossings from Germany to France. There were also French snipers position on top of buildings.
After the killing of Chekatt was announced, Strasbourg’s mayor, Roland Ries, told reporters: “I think it will help to get back to a life that I would describe as normal. With the death of this terrorist … citizens, like me, are relieved.”
Of course they claim responsibility!! They always do!!!! What’s funny is that they will always wait until the suspect is dead before they do so!! Even if it takes a week or so!! But they will ALWAYS claim responsibility!!!!
Funy isis only attacks nato.
Funny isis says it retaliates against nato action.
Russia decimated isis…yet they have not nearly have been targeted as much as say…france or germany. How odd…
I dont particularly care about FN’s tweet in the aftermath…its a cheap shot. I do agree with closing salafist schools though,a nice jab a the saudis.
Smells like a FF to me.
Cheers

How Bulgaria supplied drugs and weapons to Al-Qaïda and Daesh
by Thierry Meyssan
The best-kept secrets must be revealed in the end. The mafia cartel which governs Bulgaria has been caught supplying drugs and weapons to Al-Qaïda and Daesh, at the demand of the CIA, both in Libya and Syria. The affair is all the more serious since Bulgaria is a member of NATO and the European Union. http://www.voltairenet.org/article189802.html
So all that money wasn’t wasted, just when Macron needs some good propaganda the ever faithful tools of Globalism spring into action for their masters.
