An ISIS commander of the Tabaqa military airport, Ahmad Kafroma, has been killed by airstrike of the Syrian Arab Air Force, different reports argued on June 15 and June 16.
The Tabaqa military airport is a strategic point in the western part of Raqqa province. On June 15, pro-government sources reported that the Syrian Arab Army, backed up by Russian and Syrian warplanes, continued to operations in western Raqqa and was in only 5 kilometers away from the Tabaqa town.
