On July 13, ISIS fighters conducted a hit and run attack on a position of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies in the area of Wadi al-Mut in the eastern al-Suwayda countryside, according to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq.

ISIS claimed that seven soldiers of the SAA were killed during the attack. Moreover, ISIS fighters captured several weapons and burned the SAA’s position to the ground, according to Amaq.

A source in the SAA told the al-Suwayda 24 blog that ISIS’ attack was repelled following heavy clashes. According to the source, SAA soldiers killed at least one fighter of ISIS, while the others “run away.”

Earlier this month, ISIS fighters launched two similar attacks on positions of the SAA in the eastern al-Suwayda countryside. However, the SAA managed to foil both attacks after killing and injuring several fighters of the terrorist group.

The SAA and its allies are expected to resume their military operations against the remaining cells of ISIS in eastern al-Suwayda once they finish their operations the governorates of Daraa and al-Quneitra.

ISIS must be getting new training and weapons from their covert sponsors. Maybe Amazon has an undisclosed deal to deliver ISIS/al-Qaeda’s drones, artillery, TOWs, and shit. Who knows what passes through the Rothschild neocolony’s border with ISIS in the SW corner of Syria, or through the US-occuipied Tanf area.

Between this, Idlib, gang activities, Rebel cells all over, and spats with allies will there ever be such a thing as peace in Syria? By the time Syria’s cutthroat politics stabilize there will already be brewing the next major war…

Ken Nonickname Nonecknom Under

It’s not Syrian politics, it’s West/Gulf-backed terrorists, mostly not Syrians, trying resist the imminent return of peace to that great country. :)

Smaug

This is a serious subject, Ken.

Bob

The primary destabilization in Syria is foreign backed and created terrorist factions, as ever you seek to minimize and divert from that reality, but no one is buying it.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Yes it is very serious and at least they are taking it very seriously , my question is why aren’t you?

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Let’s clarify what you call “rebel cells” are ISIS and Al Qaeda both terrorist groups you have Al Qaeda(Qatari) backed aka JTS, Ahrar al Sham and Nour dine al denki long with their allies all child beheaders, then Al Qaeda (KSA) backed aka HTS,Nusra front,Jaysh al Islam, Jaysh al Izza and Faylaq al Rahman, then you have Turkish backed Sultan Murad ,TIP, Thawra Sharqiya and so on, yes these are all terrorist gangs mostly formed out of over 100 Foreign nations. Tell me when you have all these nations violating Charter Article 51 and 2.(4) supporting and making claims in violation of international law tell me what would you do for your country.

Now US is offering a full pull out under certain circumstances if Iran and Hezbollah leave only problem is NATO/Israel there is uninvited where as Iran and other parties are invited. Do you know what Assad said to that? I will tell you.

Assad responded” Iranian forces and their allies came to Syria under official request by central government and will leave when this government asks the allied forces to leave, and only when all the terrorists have been eradicated from the Levant”.

“You” Assad said” came to Syria without permission and occupied our territory. It is therefore our duty to push you out by all means. You shall not obtain by negotiation and peace what you failed to obtain after 7 years of war”.

Now that is exactly what I would say and do if it was my country the US and company invaded , so it would come down to 1000’s of dead US and NATO soldiers no something any public taxpayer wants to hear again.

Remember carefully who started all this with Operation Timber Sycamore wasn’t Syria or Iran or Russia but a greedy nation called the US wanting global dominance as you see the end game is something the US now wants to avoid right now. The very reason why ISIS was moved to one of the partners of OBR called Pakistan and people are very anti ISIS and terrorists there. The US always think they are one step ahead but always find themselves 3 steps in behind in the end.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

I predict death squads will again become a feature of Syrian politics, but they’ll all be pro Government this time, they’ll quickly weed out the worst of the worst, [families and all unfortunately]. Not that I want it to happen mind you. When the war ends, and if and when the Iranian gas pipeline is built, Assad will have so much FREE cash, that he’ll be able to pave all his streets with gold. When the average Syrians wallet starts to bulge, and all the shops are filled up with shiny new things, I don’t think there’ll be too many people still grumbling about Assad anymore, they’ll all be way too busy spending all that extra cash.

7000 militants isis daesh in syria now!

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Time to retreat back to Al-Tanf, they can try again after they’ve resupplied and had some R+R at that US base.
