ISIS Conducts Second Large And Successful Attack In Cabo Delgado Province Of Mozambique

Support SouthFront

Cabo Delgado province Of Mozambique is turning into a new stronghold of ISIS in Africa.

On March 23, ISIS militants attacked the town of Mocimboa de Praia destroying local army and police positions and looting banks and equipment depots. The town is a key logistical hub near the developing $60bn natural gas project Rovuma Basin, off the Indian Ocean coast of Cabo Delgado. They were in control of the town for over than 24 hours before police and the army reportedly recaptured it.

On March 25, ISIS cells entered the village of Quissanga. Images circulating on social media show armed fighters waving the black ISIS standard outside the local police station. Militants wounded and killed several security forces members and captured a local weapon depot.

The army and security forces of Mozambique seem to be unable to react to ISIS attacks fast enough and contain the terrorist threat. If the situation develops in this direction and further, a part of the province may appear under the direct control of terrorists.

So the death cult opened up a new franchise? Also, there are muslims in Mozambique? I don’t know who said that he didn’t have problems with God, only with his fanclub. This particular fanclub is always guaranteed these days to provide lots of ‘entertainment’.

poverty is the answer for all your questions about those groups.

Barba_Papa

People who are busy surviving are never the ones who actually rise up in revolt. History has proven this time after time after time again. It’s always the middle and upper classes, people with the money and time on their hands to devote time to revolutionary activities who form these groups. The peasans, they’re usually more preoccupied with making a living.

kim sy

when you can’t make a living you will join those groups. second you are mixing between the leaders and the woods, the poor are the woods for any war.

Barba_Papa

When you can’t make a living you can’t afford to join those groups. Because you’re too hungry to be concerned with the class struggle. This is why the leaders and middle cadre of revolutionary groups have always been highly educated upper and middle class. Even the lower rank and file. The poor only join them in the final end stage when the revolution transitions from small scale terrorist attacks to guerilla warfare insurgency to open warfare. And even then most of the poor will still be more busy trying to survive then join in the fighting.

Which makes perfect sense because only true believers make for the best fighters. And you have to be educated to be a true believer, because only an educated person has the time and the means to study Marx, the Bible or the Quran.

The same people who carry the Isis virus around are easy to be the same as the covid.

Yeah shitloads of countries left for the AngloZioNazis to use as training-facility for their Al-Ciaeda & ISISraeli Headchoppers….What are you goin’ to do next Elites?! You must have a little trick up your sleeves right?!

Unbelievable. The destruction of Iraq and Libya, and the attempted regime change war in Syria continues to combine consequences and spread the misery around to yet more people. Africa is awash in weapons trade looted from Libyan bases. And support for jihadi street gangs as an instrument of geopolitical gamesmanship is continuing to spread chaos. Someday historians will write volumes about the evil people who enabled and tried to gain from all this.

With their ABORTION RIGHTS! Mozambique is a fundamentally new outrage, without precedent in abortion banning Syria, Libya, Iran, Gaza or Venezuela. This is an outrage against ABORTION RIGHTS! not seen since Ukraine, Serbia and Cuba!

The US and nato need their proxies in Africa to prevent the Chinese and Russians gaining too much of a foothold. Western shysters have long seen Africa as their playground and don’t want outsiders improving things for the locals and spoiling a good shyster future.

As before, Daesh is able to out manoeuvre local forces – how? By being plugged into US/Israeli satellite intel providing constant updates about responses coming their way. Same song and dance as in Syria and elsewhere.
