The ISIS terrorist group targeted a M60T main battle tank belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces in the northern part of Syrian province of Aleppo. The M60T was supporting Turkish-backed militant groups fighting ISIS under the banner of Operation Euphrates Shield.
According to the video released by the ISIS-linked Amaq news agency, an anti-tank guided missile directly hit the Turkish M60T in the area south of Akhtarin village.

At least 1 Turkish crewmember, Lieutenant Captain Alper Kocaman was confirmed killed, following the incident.

Turks and Arabs have now come to that fork in the road
ISIS or YPG?
Looks like the tank did quite well as crew clearly exit. Well at least three of the four?
If that is the M60T Jewish made tank from Israel, then it is simply a crew of three. So one third of the crew is confirmed dead.
No, M-60Ts, just like M60s, have no auto-loader, so 4 person crew.
Correct and one can clearly see three people exit after the hit, obviously they could have been wounded, I see the story has the KIA as an officer so I doubt he was driving would most likely exit the turet, or had been out side tank at time of the hit.
I only saw one, exiting from the turret at 0:26. What times did you see the other two?
Kocaman doesn’t look too Turkish to me…
Lieutenant-Captain is kind of an odd translation of his rank. Yüzbaşı means ‘leader of 100’ and is rated NATO OF-2, so Captain would be a pretty reasonable translation of his rank into English equivalents.
