On Tuesday, an ISIS-inspired truck-ramming attack hit the US city of New York. The pickup truck plowed down a bike path in lower Manhattan killing at least 8 people and injuring 12 others.
The pickup truck crashed into another vehicle after striking people on the bike path. The attacker got out of his car holding two fake guns. Then, police shot the suspect and took him into custody.
Authorities are threating the incident as a terror attack.

“God is Great!” [Allahu Akbar] The Uzbekistan native shouted in Arabic before a hero cop pumped a bullet into his abdomen, ending the deadly assault on a bright holiday afternoon. Authorities said he was hospitalized after the shooting, underwent surgery and was expected to survive.
The attacker was identified as 29-year-old Saifullah Saipov from Uzbekistan. He migrated to the U.S. legally in 2010.

According to media reports, a note written by Saipov in Arabic and discovered outside the pickup truck declared he was loyal to ISIS.

In case of US attack on Iran Russia will do Syria 2.0 with a vengeance. Putin will continue talking about “our western partners” while at the same time shipping hardware to the Iranians, together with China and probably N Korea. How? It would be a war of air raids, missile attacks and drone strikes. There’s no possibility of conventional ground invasion and thus no chance of “mission accomplished” type victory. Iranians will start assymetric warfare immediately attacking US and Israeli interests across the ME. US soldiers and their local allies in Iraq, Syria, Kurdistan, The Gulf would be targeted. Israeli front would be activated too. You’d have US army stretched beyond it’s capability. Iran has enough ballistic missiles to make normal life in Israel difficult.
