ISIS’ “Little Caliphate” Grows In Euphrates Valley Thanks To Actions Of US-led Coalition And Its Proxies

Support SouthFront

ISIS’ “Little Caliphate” is growing in the Euphrates Valley thanks to irresponsible actions of the US-led coalition and the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Over the past few days, ISIS units have recaptured the village of Susah, Hawi Susah, Mozan, Shajlah, Baghuz Foqani and Tahtani from the SDF using a bad weather and a low intensity of the US-led operation agains the trrorist group. Furthermore, recently, the SDF has halted its grond advance on ISIS justifying the move by Turkish strikes on SDF positions near the town of Kobani in northern Syria.

The ISIS-held pocket in the Euphrates Valley (the main ISIS stronghold is Hajin village) had remained untouched for a long time. The US-led coalition and the SDF in-fact ignored the ISIS presence in the area declaring multiple “offensives” on the terrorist group, but taking no notable actions to turn statements into reality. The US sees the “ISIS threat” in Syria as a useful explanation to justify its military presence in the war-torn country.  At the same time, some top US officials have openly admitted that Washington is seeking to remain in the country in order to limit the Russian influence there and to force Iran to withdraw its forces from there (to defend Israeli interests).

ISIS / US/ US Led Coalition & US Backed SDF ..Are all on the Same Side

seawolf

as well as Jabhat al Nusra which is supported by Turkey

Zionism = EVIL

Well Nutter Yahoo and the US terrorist sponsors openly said that ISIS should not be defeated in either Syria or Iraq as they are useful tools to keep the region destabilized. US airforce acts officially as ISIS airforce and has bombed the SAA and even Iraqi Shia militias on various occasions when they were close to eliminating the US terrorist darling headchoppers.

Icarus Tanović

That’s so clear.

Tommy Jensen

Moderate freedom fighters who wants Western $freedom.

TiredOfBsToo

The US has been defending their proxy forces Isis, AlQueda and SDF for use against Syria for so long, that they forgot that keeping pet vipers en-masse, can get you bitten.

Zionism = EVIL

US morons have also been airlifting ISIS into Afghanistan.

Jens Holm

Yes, they had no legs.

Zionism = EVIL

and no brains and carry bone saws donated by headchopper moron MBS via the Saudi consulate in Istanbul :)

Jens Holm

Parrots are brighter then You. You really show well, why so many mslims lives in the dark forever.

Icarus Tanović

So obvious.

Tchoutoye

Time for SAA to cross the Euphrates to continue the fight against ISIS.

Ma_Laoshi

Exactly. By what right is the east bank near al-Bukamal reserved for the US, when they can finally be bothered to claim it. With sombre faces, Russian diplomats gripe “How can we get through to our partners that we are serious?” Well stand up to them, act like you mean it. If even on Syrian territory, you wait for American permission to do anything of consequence, then don’t be surprised if you’re treated with the same disrespect as other poodles.

Jens Holm

SAA have no forces for that. You forget what happend last time and last time. Many memorylacks from You and others about it.

Ma_Laoshi

I cannot speak for Tchoutoye, but I haven’t forgotten it. So I don’t mean send SAA to the slaughter like last time and expect a different outcome–which after all is Einstein’s definition of insanity. No, advance with proper mobile air defenses and Russian air cover, telling the orcs to stay out of it or else. It’s exactly this Russian loser mentality that if USAF wants to bomb your ally you just have to let them, which is leading to all this misery.

On the other hand, the SAA has great difficulty clearing out that tiny isolated al-Safa pocket for what is it like three months already, so you may have a point that this is not the time to launch an additional operation. Not all is well in the loyalist camp.

northerntruthseeker .

That little caliphate is bogus, as ISIS is run and controlled by the US itself…

The US wants this “caliphate” to grow to continue to use the fraud “ISIS threat” as their reasoning to continue to operate illegally in Syria… It is all propaganda bullshit!

Jens Holm

If ISIS was controlled by US Assads only was an Emirate around Latakia, bacise then SDFs were dead or all refugees in Turkey and Europe.

Zionism = EVIL

Yeah US morons have done such a great job in Afghanistan and Iraq for the past 18 years now eh :)

R Trojson

It was Turkey’s attack on Kurdis territory in northern Syria that forced fighters to move from the Euphrates-ISIS battle to defend their people from Turkish genocide. This is very simple Russia-Syria-Iran control ISIS in the Euphrates and Turkey is helping them out by attacking Kurds.

Jens Holm

Thats right. Turks has done that again and again.

Jon

Hell yes. Iran out of Syria!

And May Russia please count its cards before staying at the table.

Jens Holm

I see that as a very temporary situation. Wider and thinner lines normally are more easy to attack.

I have heard of no reinforcemenets of ISIS, but true it bad times for SDFs.

Bill Wilson

The SDF was using fairly new Arab militias with SDF advisors to regain control of that region. They had previous experience fighting ISIS in the north by the border with Iraq. Unlike ISIS, they lacked experience fighting in sandstorms so got caught by surprised. The SAA is using new units to fight ISIS to the west in order to give them some combat experience. The SAA has been woefully short on experienced soldiers so had to accept moderate rebel militias into their ranks to reinforce their units in the NW while using the newly worked-up units to get after the ISIS pockets first then along the main roads where they have cells hiding with supporters. ISIS still has plenty of cash on hand to buy peoples’ loyalty.

Shawn

USA could wipe out ISIS in less than 24 hrs. They’re using ISIS as as excuse so they can stay in Syria & plunder its resources
