ISIS members and their families have reportedly started leaving the Yarmouk refugee camp area in southern Damascus, according to videos and reports appearing from the ground.
By May 21, about 1,600 persons have been transported out of southern Damascus by 32 buses, according to circulating reports.

The Syrian Army and besieged ISIS members reached a deal last weekend forcing ISIS units to surrender their weapons and to withdraw via an open corridor to the Homs desert. Late on May 20, ISIS units started burning their HQs and depots in the besieged area.
At the same time, reprots appeared that a group of hardcore ISIS members had refused to surrender and withdraw. According to pro-government sources, this group will be targeted by a resumed military opeartion later today.
The Syrian state-media and a part of pro-government media outlets avoid reporing on the recent developments in southern Syria because of PR reasons.
Another deal with ISIS… SAA, US-led coalition and Hezbollah reaching agreement with the terrorists. They all ashame their countries and the people they represent. SAA is equaling itself to the US stupid slaves who reach a lot of deals with ISIS to use them as their pawn on the Syrian chess.

I do understand when there are agreements with syrian opposition groups but with ISIS… If ISIS would withdraw earlier when operation only began it would be one thing but there are continue fighting for months already doing some bad stuff to syrian army members and civilians.

Get all militants out of cities and into rural areas: a.) then don’t have to completely destroy own urban infrastructure to fight them, b.) nor risk lot of infantry and armor fighting amongst dense and fortified urban settings, and c.) can later identify and bomb them from the air in far more open terrain. Good strategy.
The Russians are calling the military shots, because that is the way Syria wanted it to be, due to more scanning equipment + better understanding of tactics on this scale.

I must agree to a certain extent, but:
1. It allows civilians in Damascus to be safe for the first time in 7 years.. 2. They are moving them to a place, where they will be easily eliminated, especially when…. 3. Thousands of Syrian + troops are freed up. 4. It allows for the peaceful rebuilding from Damascus and it’s regions.

Assad requested to Russia to supply S-300 to SAA and to their allies to defend Syrian nation and their assets but Russia refused because of Netanyahu. If Mr. Putin was sencere with Syria then he should supply S-400 instead of S-300 to send a good message to the world that Russia so much take care of their allies.

Syrian state media agency SANA denied reports of any evacuation deal between IS and the Syrian government on Saturday. The outlet reported on Monday that the departure of buses from south Damascus the night before was part of “an evacuation of women, children and the elderly during a temporary ceasefire enacted [Sunday] evening for humanitarian reasons.”
A media spokesman for Liwa al-Quds, a Palestinian militia that participated in the SAA’s anti-IS offensive in south Damascus, told Syria Direct on Sunday that reports about a government-coordinated evacuation of IS were “not true.”
The media spokesman refused to comment on the government capture of IS-held districts south of the capital on Monday.
Perhaps. SF disagrees with that, but I often disagree with SF. The Syrian government has reason to keep it secret because not everyone would be pleased with such a deal. Whereas any Syrian opposition (whether a Rebel or a corrupt official) would have reason to exaggerate the deal.
