ISIS terrorists are reportedly preparing to withdraw from the Al-Yarmouk camp south of the Syrian capital of Damascus.

According to unconfirmed reports, ISIS had reached an evacuation agreement with local Palestinian leaders. The agreement will alllow the evacuation of ISIS militants and their supporters from the camp with the approval of the Syrian government.

According to local sources, ISIS distributed leaflets to the people in mosques inside the Al-Yarmouk camp and called on those who wished to leave the camp to the ISIS-held areas in eastern Syria. The leaflets stated that ISIS opens the door for registration for civilians who wish to exit to “the lands of the Caliphate” east of the country, and ISIS prepared several points to register in the camp.

ISIS also told its fighters in the camp that “immigration” is a religious duty, and also told them that the first batch will leave in the coming days to eastern Syria. Moreover, the fighters and the civilians who wish to leave have reportedly started selling their property in the area.

It is expected that ISIS has agreed to withdraw as a result of the severe shortage of manpower in eastern Syria. It is worth mentioning that the fighters of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) have also withdrawn from their positions in Al-Yarmouk camp to Idlib province.

In the meantime, the third batch of civilians and militants who have been evacuated from the Barza district east of the capital Damascus to Idlib province has arrived, where 33 buses carrying 1,700 civilians and militants reached Idlib today, and another 6,000 civilians and militants are expected to be evacuated from the district in the coming days.

“It is worth mentioning that the fighters of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) have also withdrawn from their positions in Al-Yarmouk camp to Idlib province”… TRANSLATION…It is worth to mention that the MERCENARY TERRORISTS fighters of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham withdraw from Al-Yarmouk camp to RE-INFORCE their MERCENARY comrades in the Idlib province to regroup and keep their UNITED STATES/ISRAEL ASSIGNED NEW MISSION…CONTINUES FIGHTING together with the U.S/ISRAEL special forces and their AIR-COVER.

I agree but in turn, the SAA / allies can also transfer badly needed units to crucial areas and operations, instead of siege warfare.

John Brown

These agreements are great because the SAA frees up far greater numbers of troops then ISIS or Al Qaeda get from these agreements as maintaining a siege requires far more manpower then defending one. The SAA is again the far greater beneficiary strategically, as these were urban areas very hard to clear out in house to house fighting with high casualties for the SAA, which they now don’t have to do, like the Iraqi forces are suffering in Mosul. This is why ISIS and Al Qaeda have to be forced to agree to such withdrawals it or be wiped out totally.

Yes but those pockets are a huge risk to civilians and to the capital. Sending them to idlib allows them to continue to wage war against Jaime-al-Islam (nice little bonus there) and to place them into an easily bombed area for the RAF to take care of. So yeah, better to attack them in rural areas than in a city. Its a big win. The additional SAA forces gained from this can also be used in other areas. There is a big goal t shorten the front lines so more troops can be deployed to much needed areas. This is great news. U should be happy.

I think the term shortage of manpower is not so near the truth! – There may be more interesting and better payed offers to leave for the Kashmir province to fight India! – Thats what is announcing http://www.voltairnet.org on his short messages. When all the terrorists are evacuated to Idlib, why should there be any “shortage of manpower”? Because there should be a lot of dead from last clashes near Homs? – No there must be another target to join…

The SAA faces 1,400 battle fronts. The strategy of de-escalation and letting takfiri terrorists move from A to B, clearly pays off, as the amount of Syrian soil regained by the legitimate government of Syria expands exponentially..

“The leaflets stated that ISIS opens the door for registration for civilians who wish to exit to “the lands of Sukhoi food” east of the country”

There, fixed it for ya. =P

Mr. Sulam

According to any other source, HTS hasn’t moved from Yarmouk. Look at LiveUAMap and SCWM.
