ISIS Prisoners Organized Another Mutiny In Al-Hasakah Jail

Late on September 19, ISIS prisoners started a new mutiny in the Geweran Prison south of the city of al-Hasakah in northeastern Syria.

A source in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which runs the infamous prison, told the New Arab that ISIS prisoners had started a rebellion and refused to obey orders. In response, the prison’s guards were placed on high-alert. The SDF also deployed reinforcements around the prison.

“The SDF and the [U.S.-led] coalition closed the road leading to the prison, as helicopters of the international coalition flew in the key of al-Hasakah,” the source added.

ISIS prisoners were reportedly demanding faster trails to determine their fate, the right to call their families and a more organized visits schedule.

The terrorists ended their mutiny in the noon of September 20. The SDF retook over the prison. Some sources claimed that a delegation of the U.S.-led coalition had met with the prisoners and insured them that their demands will be soon fulfilled. However, this is yet to be confirmed.

This was the second mutiny in Geweran this month. The first mutiny took place on the 9th of September. Around 5,000 terrorists of ISIS, including foreigners, are being held in the prison.

” ISIS prisoners were reportedly demanding faster trails to determine their fate ”

I totally agree, they should get really fast trials and then a bullet to the head. Give them what they want please.

Andre Lopes

I don´t get it. Since when Terrorists have rights?? Why SDF isn´t simple delivering those terrorists to Syrian government?? Deliver the terrorist to the Syrian Government 10 by 10 and let Syria terminate them in the correct way.

Davide Herzog

Bullets are too expensive . And too civil too . A knife is enough . And it has to be used like those use it against syrian prisoners .

Jens Holm

Today I am like this. Let them be used as minesweepers.

Jens Holm
