ISIS Releases New Video Of Hostages Amid Developing Syrian Army Advance In Al-Safa

On September 13, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) imposed control of several caves, hills and lakes in Qa’a al-Banat and Qabr al-Sheikh Hassan in the northwestern and western parts of the area of al-Safa, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The SANA’s reporter in the governorate of al-Suwayda, said that the SAA artillery shelled several positions of the terrorist group in al-Safa. As a result, many terrorists were killed, some of whom were snipers.

Meanwhile, ISIS released a new video of around 30 civilian hostages, who were abducted from their homes in the eastern al-Suwayda countryside in late July. In the video, one of the hostages, “Rasmiah Adib Abu Ammar,” called on the Damascus government to increase its efforts to free them through negotiations.

The SAA has slowed down its advance in al-Safa in order to ensure the safety of the hostages. However, the new video shows that the hostages have been moved to an urban area, likely in the Homs desert where the army is also attacking the terrorist group.

“…have been moved to an urban area, likely in the Homs desert….” !!

Just how the hell are they moving around freely enough to transport 30 hostages?

Jim Bim

Outside help, like getting satellite/GPS data and coordinates on where the Russian/Syrians are on land and air.

It was a rhetorical question. ; )

Just where is an urban area in the Homs Desert?

Mickey Dee

US helicopters.

Mikronos

A bus would do that. Most buses don’t get strafed.
