On Sunday, ISIS retreated from two more villages under the pressure of government forces in the eastern Salamiyah countryside. The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies liberated Rasm Abaykah and Rasm Abd in the northern part of the pocket.
On Friday, the SAA liberated Soha town located in the same area on the one of the important roads.
Government forces will likely continue their advance against ISIS terrorists in the area of Akash.

As a pro SDF commenter I am happy for the SAA to make stupid mistakes but it seems to me DeZ should be their most pressing focus.
But what can I say. SAA just continue like this and if you go on long enough like this, the whole of Syria will become a federal state where Assad can rule in his precious but Isolated Damascus, oh, with maybe a highway to the coast.

You talking about tactical gains and strategic losses while cheering on the other page about ISIS in Qaratayn. Or stating that SAA is facing defeat because of a supposed jihadist offensive in Aleppo.
You should check the map again bearing in mind that the red parts are those taken by the SAA. See how they liberated 80% of lost territory one strategic loss after another.
That battle in Quaryatayn is over heavy militant casualties these were the inghimasi warriors why they were lightly armed all are reported dead. Reported on farsnews.

Think that’s why everybody misinterpreted the civilians and soldiers response, no one wants to die and stuff like this getting out would cause widespread panic. They all handled the situation well.
man i dont know. Those were descriptions coming from ISIS and amaq in general. Also everytime they put up some kind of terror attack there is a crowd on the main social medias starting to talk a lot of things appearing to reinforce their point of view.
My take is that they are mainly doing psyops against the Syrians, and the reason is the whooping they got these days. They also have to keep other muslims believeing that they got God on their side.

There will be no federal state. Syria will be partitioned. Of course, all it’s interested in is to preserve its useless military bases there which did not save her leading general from being assassinated by the US or Syria itself from being repeatedly bombed by the Zionist entity.
Hate to disappoint you but the Russians are playing the long game and why is everyone thinking that these reports are true about advances of DAESH are real, they are falling a part at the seams as they are sending in their inghimasi. They are not having great success and they are going in lightly armed and dying trying to attack better trained fighters.
Last week there were already reports on Russian medias that said that once the jihadist perverts are purged from Syria, those that have not been invited will have to leave.
I’d also consider that Turkey is going to prefer to have Assad in control of the country ante-quo-bello rather than having an independent Kurdistan.

Soon the SAA will secure Homs soon , the report in al-Quaryatayn is they were suicide troops and the army wiped them out after repeated attacks. The news is getting old before anyone comments about it, happens when they start playing EW games massive amunt of Cyber attacks in the middle east coming from many nations,will check that map out too at times.
