On January 21, the ISIS news agency Amaq released photos of a recent ambush that targeted a large convoy of Nigerian government forces in the northeastern state of Borno.

The ambush took place near the town of Gorgi in the Damboa Local Government Area on January 17. Terrorists of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) targeted a convoy escorted by a foot patrol with a number of improvised explosive devices.

According to Amaq, at least 30 Nigerian service members were killed or injured in the ambush. Moreover, four armored vehicles were destroyed.

Amaq’s photos show at least two ISOTREX Phantom 2 armored personnel carriers, which were completely destroyed in the ambush.

The ISWAP stepped up its attacks in Borno in the last few days. On January 15, terrorists took over the town of Marte 90 km northeast of Maiduguri, the capital of the province. Nigerian government forces recaptured the town on January 17.

ISWAP terrorists launched a second attack on government troops in Marte on January 18. At least 20 Nigerian soldiers were killed. Two vehicles were also destroyed.

Nigerian government forces have been making an immense effort to put an end to the ISWAP presence in the northeastern region. The terrorist group is not backing down, however.

Who is responsible for this?Kurds?Russia?Israel?Uae?USA?

ΠΑΡΜΕΝΙΩΝ

Russia has nothing to do with all this. Russia and Turkey are strategic ALLIES.

Proud Hindu

Then who?

ΠΑΡΜΕΝΙΩΝ

Turkey has created many enemies. And no one wants a strong Turkey.

ΠΑΡΜΕΝΙΩΝ

It does not matter who did it. But that Turkey in the end will be cut into 3 pieces.

Proud Hindu

I thought 2 pieces one for kurds other for turks

ΠΑΡΜΕΝΙΩΝ

The designs are for 3 pieces. I have seen the maps.

Proud Hindu

Who is gonna do that?

Shadow

LMAO how pathetic you are. That’s a controlled dynamite explosion for land refinement.

ΠΑΡΜΕΝΙΩΝ

SERIOUSLY;;!!! In a nuclear plant ?? ha ha ha cut the expired pills … and stop the propaganda to justify what happened.

Shadow

It’s not even near the power plant. Do you see any building there? No. You’re desperate, let’s admit it. Thanks to Russians we will grow our economy faster and nuke Greece in the future lol. Just joking… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-SDL8wwBrE

ΠΑΡΜΕΝΙΩΝ

The video you sent is much older. Do you have today or yesterday’s video from HOW is the Akkogio factory NOW to show here to the other commentators ?? The video I sent is dated 19/1/2021 …. yours is dated 7/7/2020 …. cut the propaganda. What you will do with Russia does NOT concern us.

Konrad Ingvarssen

I think you are right and they used too much dynamite for the job. Apparently they damaged some houses. But it’s not an airstrike.

Shadow

Yes, windows of some houses are broken. It happens. They should be more careful next time.

Jihadi Colin

That’ll teach Nigeri to buy Amerikastani crap.

FlorianGeyer

Its NEVER been a good idea to swan around in armoured vehicles without an infantry screen on foot. Especially in built up areas, rugged areas and wooded areas. :)
