On September 5, ISIS’ news agency, Amaq, released photos of a recent attack by the group’s terrorists on Nigerian army base in the northeastern state of Borno.

The attack targeted the town of Magumeri a few days ago. ISIS terrorists occupied the town for several hours, during which they stormed a base of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

ISIS claimed that its terrorists killed ten Nigerian service members in the attack. However, Amaq photos showed three bodies only.

ISIS in Nigeria, formerly known as “Boko Haram,” intensified its attacks in Borno State recently. Government forces are making immense effort to counter the group.

Fog of War

The Nigerian amry , like most African militaries is highly inept.

Dino

You’re wrong. The major problem is lack of equipment and political willingness to end the insurgency. A lot of crooks would be put of business if the war should end.

Fog of War

What war ? Based on all the combat videos I’ve seen the Nigerians barely put up a fight, and Boko Haram looks very amateurish. Addtionally, isnt Nigeria one of the richest African countries ? They have no equipment ?

Liberal guy

What ever the problem is soldiers are killed by the terrorists regularly

James Adams

I think both your comments are correct
