According to the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group, a helicopter of the Iraqi Air Force has been shot down during battles to the north of Baiji city.
On January 4, the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group declared that it destroyed a helicopter of the Iraqi Air Force during battles to the north of Baiji city. According to terrorists, the helicopter was shot down in the area of the Makhoul ridge; all four people on its board were killed.
Official Iraqi media did not report about the incident, but, according to social networks, an unnamed representative of the country’s military authorities has confirmed the loss of the helicopter. Photos of the lost helicopter and members of its crew were also published online. Judging by the photos, the Mi-35M was shot down near the Makhoul mountains.
A few days ago, terrorists cut off the road from Baghdad to Mosul (a section between Baiji and Shirkat) near the Makhoul ridge. Over the past two days, the Iraqi Army recaptured three checkpoints on the road and one small village, however, Iraqi troops still have not managed to open traffic on Mosul – fightings in the area of the road are ongoing.
Shirqat, Baiji, Qayyarah, Samarra, Tikrit
WTF are HUGE groups of terrorists …. not small sleeper cells …. doing here still?
You should volunteer and go to Iraq or Syria and kick their asses!
Hey better yet, we can go together, if you fancy dying on video with your head cut off! Tard. Doesn’t mean I can’t comment. These areas were announced liberated of ISIS ages ago; where did they come back from?
You have to remember these terrorist are like the shit in our government they simply burrow in deeper for another day..
I dont think its just sleepe cells… yeah, the latest explanation is that they escape from mosul …. which is supposedly surrounded. It dont make sense. Even if they come from hawija or the few areas they have left in anbar, its a lot to travel and how the iraqi army liberates shirqat and qayyarah and leaves only small checkpoints with 5-10 men? The iraqi army is not like the SAA, they dont have a million fronts and battles, even if there are 100k in mosul …. and half of that isnt even the army …. they still have ridiculous amounts of soldiers left.
It dont make sense to me.
