Nineveh’s Media Center announced the death of a 3-month old baby as a result of the spreading hunger. This was the first incident of this kind since the start of the US-backed offensive in western Mosul. Numerous sources also reported that ISIS were forcefully displacing Mosul residents to the northern parts of western Mosul which were under the terrorists’ control. The goal was to use civilians as human shields. This will increase the difficulty of the final stages of the Iraqi Armed Forces’ military operations in western Mosul.
