On February 2, ISIS fighters attacked several positions of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) around the village of al-Bahrah in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside, according to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq.

The suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (SVBIED) targeted a key position of the US-backed forces in al-Bahrah and allegedly killed and injured over fifteen SDF fighters, according to Amaq.
Amaq also claimed that ISIS fighters killed two fighters of the SDF after targeting their position in the village of al-Baghuz south of al-Bahrah with a rocket-propelled grenade. Moreover, one SDF fighter was killed and four others were injured when an IED planted by ISIS cells targeted their vehicle around the town of Markada in the southern al-Hasakah countryside, according to the source.
Local sources reported that the US-backed forces had allowed the civilians to return to their homes in the towns of Abu Hamam and Gharanij after fully clearing them from ISIS mines and IEDs.
Since the beginning of the Turkish attack on Afrin area on January 20, the SDF has not conducted any notable attack against ISIS or released any statement about the situation in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside. Some Syrian opposition sources even claimed that the SDF had withdrawn from some positions on the Syrian-Iraqi border. However, these claims were not confirmed.

So now we have ISIS back on there killing spree even though they were at the edge of the cliff. I can understand why the SDF may have toned down their operations a little as they go North to reinforce areas against the Turks, but certainly not down to this level.
If the above article is correct, the SDF have lost another what 15-25 fighters, I don’t support them now, but after all their victories, they are turning into a rag and bone army.
Another damn excuse that the Yanks will use.
The US just leave a bit of ISIS presence to justify their own presence in Syria.

ABORTION RIGHTS IN AL-BAHRAH! SDF needs to keep the ammo we Americans gave them in the Southeast on the ISIS front, like we told them, and not take them Northwest, where there are fewer abortion banners to shoot.
