Support SouthFront

ISIS terrorists have withdrawn from the city of Mayadin in the province of Deir Ezzor aimd the ongoing advance of the Syrian Army in the area, the pro-government media outlet ANNA NEWS reported on Sunday citing sources in the Syrian intelligence and own correspondents embedded with army units.

According to the report, government forces entered Mayadin and “according to the plan” the city will be fully liberated from ISIS on Monday.

If reports are true, ISIS will lost one of its key strongholds in the Euphrates Valley.

ISIS withdrew. No fierce clashes. SAA cooperates with ISIS.

Daniel Castro

Really?! You’re above this level of trolling Solomon…

dutchnational

No, sadly he is not.

Gary Sellars

Pot calling the kettle black….

Solomon Krupacek

:)) i made mirror for other trolls ;)

Kira Binkley

Or ISIS cooperates with President Assad. There are things that need to be done in Syria and across the Middle East that can be accomplished with the help of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Enemies can become allies, in conflict with a greater threat.

gustavo

You have not having into account that aerspace russian force is just destroying any ISIS will of fighting, and you are not considering who has been destroying Syria. So, your logic is totally incorrect and senseless.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Russian Troops are on their way through the Bosporus and there are more than usual, looks as if the Russians are stepping up their game.

Solomon Krupacek

i repeated only thebullshit propagadnad of some idiots here, who wrote the same bullshit abou usa -isis cooperation in DEZ. you can see, how stupid are those people, how stupid argues use. :DDDD

dutchnational

In that I agree.

Free man

It’s really funny. When they think that ISIS is fleeing from raqqa they will write that SDF and USA support ISIS. When they think that ISIS is running away from mayadin, they will write that ISIS is afraid, even though USA supports them. funny people.

Free man

Wishful Thinking. Unfortunately the battle for Mayadin will be long and bloody.

Gary Sellars

Wishful Thinking.

Joe Doe

First I will need see some conformation, before I would believe Mayadin is in SAA control

Kira Binkley

There is a caliphate no longer.

Gary Sellars

There never was – just some territory controlled by Wahhabi goat-fucker terrorists.

Kira Binkley

Things change.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

The SAA has to be careful to ensure it does not fall into a trap, such as encirclement.

Kira Binkley

You may be right. No one but Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and possibly Allah, knows what Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi plans to do.

Gary Sellars

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead. Just because IS refuse to admit it and broadcast an old message of his doesn’t make him any less dead.

Kira Binkley

Oh, he’s not dead.

Michael Qiao

I don’t think he is dead

Gary Sellars

You can bank on it. If he wasn’t it would be trivial to prove – just one photo in an undisclosed location holding the latest copy of the Riyadh Head-cutters Weekly, or Goat Lovers Monthly. But no, no evidence at all ‘cept for a voice message that could have been recorded at any time and which doesn’t reference any latest developments.

Bag daddy is DEAD as a door nail.

Kira Binkley

Believe me, he is not dead!!

Gary Sellars

Really? What do you base that belief upon? faith? or because some Saudi goat fucker says so?

Kira Binkley

You’d be surprised. Phishing for information, GS?

Kira Binkley

I think, maybe, you’d like him to be dead, because you think that is the only way ISIS can be defeated. ISIS doesn’t need to be defeated. Things change, and there are other ways to renew and stabilize Syria.

FlorianGeyer

I hope you are correct.

VGA

Based on what he said in that last message, it couldn’t have been older than a month or two. He is probably still alive.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They have very good equipment and software that can make anyone say anything, even Trump to say that he will fire all his Generals then disband Congress and Nuke Saudi Arabia after that take Bibi from behind to celebrate!

SKY

Wait where is that message, is it a video message or voice message, what did he said ??

SKY

Well we don’t have proof of that either, RU didn’t present proof and Daesh didn’t gave any news about him, maybe he is alive and don’t want to be exposed maybe he fled to some other country or smt. Cuz if he was still alive the moral of Daesh would have been very high I guess to fight more. 50-50 chance of Dead or Alive. There is no proof by now what so ever. So only leads to speculations.

Deo Cass

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is just US/Zionist scarecrow. ISIS are being managed and led by the US, the Zionist entity of Israel and their allies.

Kira Binkley

Right.

Rafik Chauhan

it cannot be entitled from 2 side bcuz north and east is held strongly by SAA regarding south and west .if SAA keep advancing towards albukamal then isil doesn’t have any choice but to abondon him and move towarss east of Euphrates to the American saver

Kell

Yeah watch when they just withdraw, make sure you dig in deep.

PZIVJ

Whaaaat So ISIS declares Mayadin an open city (like Paris) :DD Wish it to be true, but I have my doubts! THE TIGERS WILL LEAP WITH JOY :) https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/a3d2c0e48c9c1ee5bfdb12b30df04a9226016649f3d09fa6f16c6984267ec197.jpg

Solomon Krupacek

how are you, cryptonazi?

PZIVJ

Did you hear the news? Mayadin Manyana !!! My pet tiger seems to be a bit tired after jumping around all week. Perhaps will have to go north for a cool swim on the Euphrates next. :D https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/d15d11cb9ba0e623eb0d6da3eeaa6462f930f7548e929df60f82a5092cc7ff7c.jpg

Solomon Krupacek

his jump was somehow short, when landed in water :D

dutchnational

It seems SAA is leaking “fake” news. Acc to pro SDF tweet reports and SOHR, IS has been counterattacking today and SAA is if not completely then mostly pushed out of the city, losing main positions, heavy loss of life, acc to SOHR, mostly on SAA side.

Given the statement of SAA that they expect to have taken the city tomorrow, as in monday, we will see tomorrow evening who has the more truthfull story.

Beyond this, SAA is in a very weak strategic position, again not guarding its flanks, which are completely open to counterattacks from the bypassed villages.

Kira Binkley

You really don’t want President Assad to win, do you? Can you try to see the big picture?

dutchnational

Giving fake news is the bigger picture? I do not care for Assad at all and I pity the Syrians having him as president. Beyond that, it looks like he is going to take all of Syria, except fot the areas lost to Turkey, Iran and Russia and he will have only limited way of Northern Syria n case Assad and SDF reconcile, if ever.

Gary Sellars

You pity the Wahhabi Sunnis because they cannot have a hardline mini-caliphate, cannot exterminate the Alawis, and cannot repress the non-Muslim minorities?

Poor little NATOstani snowflake….

Kira Binkley

What kind of stupid did you say you were?

Gary Sellars

Douches mental condition has a name, but its complicated to pronounce…. lol

Moussa Saab

So you admit that Assad is a president and not a dictator!

dutchnational

He is a dictator with president as title. Like so many in the world.

Gary Sellars

Douchenational is an unabashed pro-HATO pro-terrorist mother-fucker. All he cares about is for Syria to go tits up and cause the Russians a world of pain. Nothing else matters, and he is happy to see a million Syrian civilians die in order to satisfy his hatreds.

Kira Binkley

How can he live with himself, then?

Gary Sellars

NATOstani trolls live on hate. It sustains them.

Kira Binkley

The poor things. We must figure out a way to get rid of them.

Michael Qiao

reeducation camps?

FlorianGeyer

Yes, ‘Pol Pot’ style :)

Gary Sellars

I prefer Hot Pot style. A large iron cauldron, boiling on a raging fire of broken Zionist-Neocon dreams….

FlorianGeyer

We have a dream, nay a prophecy :)

FlorianGeyer

He is Dutch.

goingbrokes

I’d be happy to bet that he is not Dutch. “With deception we wage war.”

FlorianGeyer

That is a distinct possibility :) They are everywhere , just like rats.

zman

One can never tell. He does spout the Zionist Dutch government BS though. US lapdogs, competing with other Euro-Zios for the US bankers teat, from MH17 to bombing civilians, they’re right there on board. I wonder how the Dutch people will handle it if things go hot and none of their F-16s come home?

Florian N

I do not see a that big problem by counterattacks. From the west side there is open desert, so it is easy to attack but also easy to defend. In the east they have Euphrates valley so a quiet good defence spot because of the height differences. But don’t get me wrong a move like the SAA did in a region knowing there are the most powerfull enemy contingents is in my opinion stupid. They shouldn’t start rushing the town but clean the villages to get a smaller area to defend. But my real concerns are about this TOS-1, if the Russians use this on a town many civilians will die and the infrastructure is shitty aswell.

dutchnational

The problem is not either of us seeing counterattacks as a problem or not.

It is SAA not seeing counterattacks as problems. It has cost them several battles. Remind you on the assault on Tabqah 2016?

Florian N

True, but I do not think they will change their strategy. For me, it also looks like the Tiger Forces are the only ones which are well prepared in equipment and ammunition to fight in an offensive. So I do not really get how Assad wants his army to be. Moreover, there are so many different “autonomous” militias (of Syrians itself) fighting for Assad which undermine the central power of Assad and on long-term to destabilize the whole military and by that the state.

Gary Sellars

Douche is talking rubbish as usual. It was ALWAYS apparent that Syria & Friends was inviting IS to counterattack the Palymra-DeZ highway for the obvious fact taht they made no effort to control the desert to it south. The strategy worked, and IS drew heavily on their reserves to launch a failed assault, and they lost a lot of their best troops and equipment.

If they try it again, it will be the same result.

FlorianGeyer

Yes, the desert has proven to be a kill zone free of civilians and littered with dead US Proxy terrorists.

Vitex

SOHR is in London, you pillock.

BMWA1

Coventry, Midlands., ptobably on top of a fish-and-chip shop.

dutchnational

And you are in ……..

TheSecular

Sounds like they’ve headed to Omar Oil Fields or decided to head further south to Al-Kamal. Oh Well. Close up the east bank of the Pocket and cross again.

Michael

The “Caliph” is still alive judging by his most recent communique. However, I bet he is digging during his spare time. The closer he gets to the core of the earth, the safer he will be. There are serious bunker bombs waiting to land on the “Caliph.” My word of advice to him, get familiar with the shovel…it can be a life saver.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They will scour the city and look for their hidden tunnels and hunt this rats down, looks as they might have overextended themselves as thought. Thing is trust the US and it’s proxies only so far as they are just a bunch of imperialist lapdogs. The US might pull some more New ISIS army members from the south at Al Tanf and Jordan as they keep a steady supply of old soviet equipment coming in.

Xanatos

What’s going to happen after Isis is wiped out of eastern Syria? Does anyone really feel the SDF land grab will stop? Once Isis is gone, wouldn’t the SDF want to take deir ezzor and the whole Euphrates valley? Or do we expect the SDF army to just sit there and guard their half of the river?

Sdf are mercenaries who take orders from the Pentagon. The Pentagon will want to distract the SAA from their ability to fight HTS in idlib and fsa in east ghouta. So that means attacking with SDF.

Kira Binkley

Perhaps ISIS will ally with Assad to finish the job of stabilizing Syria. AND get the U.S. out of Syria!!

john

It don’t matter all this guessing stuff. Syria will be fully liberated in a short time. The Russians know exactly what they are doing. They are absolutely professional and very patient, just like Hezbollah, the Syrian army and the Iranians. ISIS will be sent running back to the penguin colonies in the Arctic and the rest of the Israeli backed idiots will crumble like stale bread. As usual, the Americans haven’t got a clue what they are doing, too many irons in the fire. If the Russians wanted to clean it up in a few days they would just bring in a hundred thousand troops and wipe the slate clean of ISIS and cowardly Israel, along with the 13 century thinking machine of the Saudis. Syria is forever, as is Palestine and Gaza. Israel, the stolen land of Palestine, is not, neither is the US. What goes around comes around. Too bad the innocent in any country including Israel have to suffer because of the pigs that run the country, like the baby killer, Netanyahu. And to think once upon a time, for a very long time, I supported Israel. Thank God my eyes were opened to their horrendous cruelty and greed towards their fellow man

dutchnational

Wonderful site.

SF publishing a story based upon unconfirmed propaganda, nothing but if and when and this empty of confirmed facts report, even without any updates, is enough to generate 63 comments, mostly made up of more empty air, speculations, rants and namecalling and the like.

I love it.

Strange this was Daesh last stronghold how now suddenly they withdraw from there, this is too strange ? So where the hell they went tho. Did they went back to Deir Ez Zor or elsewhere just thus not make any sense, this place should have been last stronghold and there were sure to be a big resistance here but this is as I said too strange, maybe they do some traps or they just went down to Al Bukamal ?????

Solomon Krupacek

They looked in the eyes of tigers and saw came the death.

bcbingram

But don’t they want those 72 virgins ?

Solomon Krupacek

12 years old “sodiers”?

lena ivaniva

It doesn`t matter if Terrorist-Baghdadi is dead or NOT. The fact is , US-backed Terrorists(Daesh) are losing against Syrians and Hezbollh fighters. Soon the war against ober-Terrorists israelis will begin.

DJ Double D

These reports are not true. Fighting is still ongoing in the suburbs of Mayadin.
