On October 17, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Ten of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Another video shows an attack with Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones that targeted a gathering of Kiev forces in the settlement of Sredniy Burluk in the Kharkiv direction.
One more video shows a strike with an Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile that hit a Ukrainian unit preparing to launch drones at Russian territories from an area near the settlement of Martovoe in Kharkiv.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the strike destroyed 65 Lyutyy fixed-wing drones, five launchers and multiple support vehicles. A total of 30 Ukrainian troops, including drone specialists, were also killed or wounded, according to the ministry.
Three additional videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that targeted Ukrainian positions in the settlement of Kurilovka in the Dnipropetrovsk direction, as well as near the settlements of Krasny Liman, Uspenovka and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk direction.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 90,737 drones, 632 air defense systems, 25,543 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,602 multiple rocket launchers, 30,531 artillery pieces, and 44,159 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
