Israel Bombs Syria Twice In One Evening, After SAM Lands Near Dimona Nuclear Reactor

Just after midnight on April 21st, Israeli fighter jets carried out a series of strikes on unknown targets near Damascus.

They did so from the air above occupied Golan Heights.

Most of these were intercepted by Syrian Air Defense, but an errant missile landed in a field in southern Israel, near the nuclear center in Dimona.

The Israeli army said the missile landed in the Negev region and the air raid sirens were sounded in Abu Krinat, a village just a few kilometres from Dimona, where Israel’s nuclear reactor is located, and explosions were reported across Israel. The army later said the incoming missile had caused no damage.

In response to the missile that landed in Israeli territory, approximately an hour later IDF fighter jets returned, and targeted a Syrian air defense battery, destroying it.

Four Syrian Arab Army soldiers were injured, none were killed.

Israeli and US media missed to report that the surface-to-air missile landed in Israel because it was targeting IDF fighter jets bombing the area near Damascus.

They simply said that the destruction of the air defense battery was in response to the Syrian missile just somehow landing in Israeli territory.

“The incident, marking the most serious violence between Israel and Syria in years, pointed to likely Iranian involvement. Iran, which maintains troops and proxies in Syria, has accused Israel of a series of attacks on its nuclear facilities, including sabotage at its Natanz nuclear facility on April 11, and vowed revenge.”

Iran’s hard-line Kayhan newspaper published an opinion piece by Iranian analyst Sadollah Zarei suggesting Israel’s Dimona facility be targeted after the attack on Natanz. Zarei cited the idea of “an eye for an eye” in his remarks.

Action should be taken “against the nuclear facility in Dimona,” he wrote. “This is because no other action is at the same level as the Natanz incident.”

Earlier in the day, an explosion took place in an Israeli government-owned defense contractor that produces missile engines.

The explosion was pretty large, and turned out to be a “planned test”, even though there was no mention of it prior or after the fact by neither the defense contractor or the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

Could quite easily have bee ruined Netanyahu’s days for him.

But the ‘accident’ would have been quite understandable if it had happened as instigated by Israel and the IDF.

Gregory Casey

No accident was the fireball over Dimona last night!

FlorianGeyer

The IDF should learn the lesson of :- ‘ Don’t throw stones at others if you live in a Nuclear Glass House’. :)

johnny rotten

The Isisrahellian war propaganda seems written by a comics designer, never a satisfaction for enemies who are always defeated, while for them never a damage or a victim, they probably think that the world is populated by people with the intelligence of a twelve year old.

Agreed. 7 years old.

They should pack up their bags and leave. it could all end very quickly for them they sit on a very small piece of land and it could end in few minutes Israel isn’t the only problem in the region Israel relies on some of it neighbors for protection what a shame on some of these people that call themselves Muslims but forget about Palestine and sell them out. Israel is an ant compared to the size of the resistance axis today. Funny how the tables turned in only 42 years yet some people believe Muslims are backwards and dumb even some Muslims today still can’t believe what’s going on I guess it’s too much shock for them seeing how much influence and power these countries hold and they(the Muslims) came from very humble backgrounds. in any future war Israel will be brought back to the stone ages ceasing it from existence.

Must be Putin’s gift to israel, after they send weapons to ukraine

Free man

Just the other way around. Israel sells weapons and technology to Russia.

Lone Ranger

Only toy drones. While most of the IMI is run by Russians. Ouch…

Free man

And you know, from your Hungarian cellar, what the Russians buy and from whom. Funny little quarter of a Hungarian Jewish .

The Butthurt is strong in you this morning Shlomo… Need a heavy flow Tampax…?

Free man

“The Butthurt is strong ” – A lot of knowledge in this area. I understand the big blondes did a lot more than beatings.

Lone Ranger

I feel for you Shlomo… You do sound like an expert indeed… But please spare me with the details…

Free man

I appreciate the Iranians I am arguing with on this site because they are defending their religion, heritage and (wrong) nationalism. I really do not respect a person like you who hates himself and his peers. You will never be what you pretend to be. Little Hungarian Shlomo.

Lone Ranger

I don’t hate myself contrary to you… I hate traitor ziorats like you and your peers. I doubt that since I never pretended to be a ziorat… Better luck next time lil Khazar Shlomo…

Free man

“Khazar Shlomo” – Writer the Jew living in Hungary. How ridiculous.

Lone Ranger

You are mixing up Ukropisstan with Hungary. Better take that Omega3…

Lone Ranger

Yeah you appreciate them so much you want to genocide them and cheer about every airstrike hitting them… Try Omega3 and coconut oil on your dementia…

Free man

My parents were born in Iran, most of my relatives are Iranians. No problem there. My only problem in Iran are the mullahs.

Lone Ranger

Lol so you are basically projecting. I was right all along. You are a self hating Iranian, contrary to me who is a Hungarian patriot. Oy vey…

Free man

So if I oppose the mullahs it means in your opinion that I hate all Iranians. Writer the Jew who calls others Shlomo. Oy vey. LOL.

Lone Ranger

You are cheering for isis and are happy about every strike and sanction on Iran… So yeah you pretty much hate them, and your sort. I only call ziorats Shlomos, they deserve it :) They are to jews what neonazis are for Europeans. Thanks for the promotion to full jew 🤗 Shlomo, I was a bit worried to be a quarter jew this morning..just a few hours ago, also you bypassed the half jew category… Im slightly dissapointed… Early onset dementia…? How about those fatty acids I told you about…

Lone Ranger

Yet Iran is more free than Saudisis arabia, one of your closest allies…hm…

Free man

How did you conclude that “they are one of your closest allies”? Stop writing about things you have no idea about.

Lone Ranger

In Iran women are respected, they can drive, learn, be politicans. There also no public state beheadings like in Saudisis Arabia. It seems you are not uo to date paps…

Free man

I suggest you take your mother and visit Iran she will love the freedom and liberalism. LOL.

Lone Ranger

More so than in Saudisis Arabia…

Free man

Who cares about Saudi Arabia. I don’t visit these countries. You’ve been getting enough attention. I usually do not argue with people like you, but you really are a unique case. Keep safe.

Lone Ranger

Same to you.

No way was there a planned munitions explosion at a production facility. That’s a foolish claim, made by foolish people. I look forward to reading the real story some day from one of the few sources that still do real journalism.

Diana Cornwell

Thanks Putin,

For protecting your real ally and master, Israel.

Putin is a Jew and a Zionist.

Putin never got in the way of the US or NATO.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration in Ukraine.

Thanks Putin.

P.S. The Saker sends her regards.

“Putin never got in the way of the US or NATO”

Russia’s presence in Syria which saved Syria from certain destruction proves the exact opposite of your misinformed statement. But then again misinformation was your intent anyway.

what’s with the shady links?

Diana Cornwell

US/Israel took the northeast. The Turks the northwest. The Russians, more or less the rest.

Questions?

Gregory Casey

You slept on the wrong side of the bed last night

Zyklon B

Folks dont listen to Diana. She is a jew pretending to be “on our side” while lecturing us about the so called evils of Putin. But I’m sure you all already know this, these types of jews are the easiest to unmask in the pecking order of semitic vermin.

Gregory Casey

Given the extent ot fhe Fireball as whatever sort of missile it was that travelled 200 miles from Syria all the way south to Dimona (NO SAM was this) landed and exploded I find it difficult to believe that a mere anti-aircraft missile travelled those 200 miles and by some sort of fluke and vague good fortune struck Dimona. As usual the Israelis are lying and I suspect both Syrians and Iranians are engaging in the Israeli game of studied indifference while refusing to acknowledge any knowledge of or responsibility for the failure of both the Iron Dome and Davids Sling plus the failure of the Patriot Missile Batteries. Given that Dimona is being rebuilt, reconstructed, expanded and refitted at a cost of (approaching) 50 Bn – all paid for out of Uncle Sam’s pockets – with thousands of French Nuclear Physicians, Engineers and Technicians on site whole France & IAEA pretend not to know anything about Israel’s Nuke farm, I’m hoping that this particular missile will have wreaked havoc inside at a cost of a further few Billion to the US taxpayer. Well done Syria (and Iran!) p.s. As Israel has been supplying the #Ukrazed with Missile tech to be deployed against Donbas, Crimea & Russia I’m wondering did Vlad the Impaler shut his eyes and ears for a fw minutes last night while winking to Bashar!

FlorianGeyer

Its Karma for the IDF destruction destruction of a partly constructed nuclear power plant in Iraq during the ‘Saddam’ era :)

verner

didn’t the jews do something similar in Syria as well. payback, at least a beginning of one.

FlorianGeyer

I think they did, yes. In its very early stages.

Concrete Mike

A SAM made it all the way there? What kind of sorcery is this?

FlorianGeyer

This kind, Mike.

I hope that all is well with you in uber Woke Canada and that the deluge of Green Mandates are not harming your business.

chris chuba

An SA5 which fires S200 missiles. It is a long range anti-aircraft battery and less sophisticated than the S300. Generally Syria just intercepts the bombs being thrown at them. It looks like they took a pot shot at one of the jets returning to its base. It was not trying to hit anything on the ground, it just landed in some random spot.

SOF

I guess it was a very long endurance SAM that chased the jet all the way back to Israel.

Rhodium 10

Israel failed to intercept a ground to ground missile ( surely Iranian)…then Z propaganda machinery told that it was an errant missile which “casually” hit Dimona…

tzatz

Ground to Air … it’s a missile designed against airplanes

chris chuba

I read this in Jpost and the story was incomprehensible because of the spin they were giving it. They tried to make it sound like they were responding to an attack by Iran because Iran was using Syria as a missile base to attack a nuclear facility in Israel.

tzatz

BS …

Israel is attacking inside Syria … IRGC bases manned by Shia Brigades / Shia PROXIES brought into Syria … to use Syria as a missile base

BUT … you knew that … right?

Cromwell

Planned test my arse. https://media0.giphy.com/media/L9E28br6rFvYk/giphy.gif

verner

remember when ukraine downed a jet prop full with jews over the Black Sea. the flight was on the way to russia with russian jews going back to whence they came and gloat I guess. at the same time the ukraina army were having some training and fired off a buk-missile straight up in the belief that it’s maximum celing was 9000 meters and that airplanes at 11000 to 12000 meters were out of reach – nah the buk missile surprised their handles since it went all the way to over 11000 and hit the plane fully loaded with jews and it went down.

this is just an illustration that an errant sam-robot might just have found some extra fuel and travelled the extra bit to the dimona, not out of spite but that’s the way things unfold from time to time – believable nah, not really. much prefer that Iran/Syria/Iraq had a hand in aiming the missile although the aim must be improved in the future.

tzatz

BS …

• what FLIGHT NUMBER?

• what DATE?

• what AIRLINE?

Diamond

This story should have a BS Alert on it. The SA5 only has a range of 160 miles. The Nuke reactor is 200 miles South of Syria. If the launcher was sitting at the border of Israel and Syria (unlikely), then the missile would still land 40 miles short which would normally not be called “in the area” of the reactor. We need a little more detail.

Nucu

i think 160 miles is interception range. it will fly beyond due to impulse and downward trajectory

tzatz

30 miles SHORT was reported in Times of Israel

Willing Conscience (The Truths

S-220 has a 300km range so they could’ve made the distance easily, only the tiny southern tip of Israel is out of range.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

So everyone’s basically saying the same thing. During an Israeli attack against Syria a S-200 missile was fired at the attacking Israeli jet, But it missed it’s mark and the missile overflew Israeli territory, Then the Israelis failed to hit the incoming missile with air defense systems, And eventually the S-200 simply fell to the ground after it ran out of fuel. Sounds very plausible and it’s probably what happened, but there’s also another possibility, especially when recent incidents and comments are taken into consideration. Just because the S-200 is designed to be an air defense missile it doesn’t mean it can’t be used as a ground attack missile, it wouldn’t be a very effective one but it’s still better than having no ground attack missiles at all, and God only knows how much damage it could do if it hit a nuclear facility. Now I know Assad has lots of ground attack missiles at his disposal but he can’t effectively use them against Israel, not purposely and directly anyway, but he could accidentally hit the nuclear facility with an errant air defense missile, especially if it looked like he was trying to do something else altogether. And I only wonder about it because of a remark made by a pro Iranian news outlet recently, which makes me wonder is this just a coincidence, or perhaps a very clever retaliatory strike by Iran using Syrian air defenses as the cover for their revenge. I’m only wondering aloud and not making any assertions, but I can’t help wondering when I read things like this,

“There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the missile strike or comment from Iran. But on Saturday, Iran’s hard-line Kayhan newspaper published an opinion piece by Iranian analyst Sadollah Zarei suggesting Israel’s Dimona facility be targeted after the attack on Natanz. Zarei cited the idea of “an eye for an eye” in his remarks.

Action should be taken “against the nuclear facility in Dimona,” he wrote. “This is because no other action is at the same level as the Natanz incident.

The Dimona reactor is widely believed to be the centrepiece of an undeclared nuclear weapons program. Israel neither confirms nor denies having a nuclear arsenal.

While Kayhan is a small circulation newspaper, its editor-in-chief, Hossein Shariatmadari, was appointed by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and has been described as an adviser to him in the past”.

Mmmmm, is it possible.

Free man

Sounds very realistic. It seems that Israelis think so too. Only this can explain the complete destruction of the air defense base that fired the missile.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

I didn’t factor that into my assessment but you’re absolutely right, completely destroying the air defense base is another important factor that seems to add credence to the possibility it was more than just a random course of events.
