On October 31, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) continued airstrikes throughout the Gaza Strip. The number of victims of the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip has reached 8,525 people, the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian enclave reported. Among the dead are 3,542 children and 2,187 women.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the area around the Al-Quds hospital in the northern Gaza Strip. The representative of the leadership of the organization said that it is impossible to evacuate 12 thousand displaced persons and more than 400 patients, including many women and children, without risking their lives.
About 800,000 civilians were evacuated from the northern areas of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army said.
Among the numerous targets of today’s attack, there were the refugee camps. Dozens of wounded arrive to the hospital after heavy Israeli bombardment in Jabalia refugee camp, north of Gaza. Over 50 Palestinians were reportedly killed by Israeli bombardment that targeted a residential block.
The al-Shati refugee camp located along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in the northern Gaza Strip also reportedly came under attack. There is almost no more buildings left undamaged in the camp. Most of the victims there are children and women.

The camp is one of many that were set up in 1948 when more than 750,000 Palestinians were displaced and thousands killed as a result of the ‘Israeli Declaration of Independence’. It hosted about 1000, 000 Palestinians.
The al-Shati camp is struck on a daily basis. On October 28 alone, more than 100 Palestinians were reportedly killed by Israeli airstrikes on a residential tower in al-Shati.
On October 9, the local Mosque was destroyed and the attack claimed lives of hundreds more civilians.
Abu Ibrahim, a Palestinian who survived Israeli bombardment in the Shati’ refugee camp in Gaza: “When we left the house after the bombing, we found the bodies of children and women burned in the streets.”
there is no great difference in killing people in gas chambers or with american bombs in their homeland. the killing must end now.
