The Arabic mass media has reported about negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Israel on the airbase Taiz in Yemen.
According to reports, the Chief of General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, general Gadi Eizenkot said on the meeting between Jordan’s ambassador and his Saudi confrere, Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki, that was held in Amman, the capital of Jordan. The general added that the situation in Yemen was discussed at this meeting. Saudi ambassador said that the war of attrition in Yemen has changed the strategy of the kingdom that is ready to use the experience of Israel now.
Israeli ambassador answered that Tel Aviv is ready for military cooperation with Saudi Arabia in Yemen. But he also noted this cooperation depends on the provision to Israel of the air base Taiz on the Red Sea.

This is a vague story. Are they claiming that Israelis will conduct air strikes against the Houthis on behalf of the Saudis as long as they get use of the base? This would be a radical departure of Israeli policy. They have not interfered with civil wars to anything close to this level of degree.
Even in Syria, a direct neighbor, they have limited 95% of their activity to airstrikes against Hezbollah and supplies they they believed were destined for Hezbollah. I do not approve of these airstrikes but it is a strategic decision of theirs to go after a specific enemy. I would actually be very surprised if there is any follow up to this story proving its voracity but time will tell. The Houthis, by all accounts, do not have anything like the relationship that Hezbollah has with Iran. This would be an appalling development.
Actually, 3 Israel Air-force personal have already died last year in Saudi Arabia, as a base in Saudi Arabia was hit by a Yemen missile.

they have nukes, they got it from pakistan. The saudis made the announcement this past february. They had it for two years

And finally the shrouds are starting to fall down, this can only mean that we are getting closer to the climax. Will it be a dramatic act with the crescendo music, or an anti-climax leaving a lot unanswered? By now everyone understands the plot I believe…
