The Israeli military announced on March 26 that it had shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
Avichay Adraee, a spokesman for the Israeli military, said that the UAV was shot down after violating Israel’s airspace. The wreckage of the downed UAV was recovered by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
“The IDF sees the incident as a dangerous violation of the sovereignty of the State of Israel and it consider the Lebanese state responsible for everything that happens from its territory,” the spokesman said.
The spokesman shared a photo of the UAV, which appeared to be based on the commercially-available Skywalker X8. Yemen’s Houthis and Syrian militants are known for modifying this type of drones for combat uses.

Hezbollah has not commented on the Israeli claims, thus far. The Lebanese government is also ignoring the alleged incident.
The downing of the UAV could lead to a military escalation as Israel may respond to the “violation.” Hezbollah had threatened Tell Aviv with a fierce response to any attack on Lebanon or its troops in Syria.

He postponed his own trial to May, using the corona virus as an excuse to close courts and escape justice. Since Gantz joined him, he would probably vote against any law that may send Netanyahu to jail and keep his government alive. A real spit in the face to center-left Israelis, he said it’s better than having a fourth elections, but we just see it as a betrayal. The courts are still closed, so his criminal accusations would have to wait till the judges start the trial, God knows when.
