For the second time this month, Israeli warplanes struck an allegedly Iranian base located near the key Syrian city of al-Bukamal on the border with Iraq.
A Syrian source told al-Mayadeen that the airstrikes, which took place on September 17, targeted positions near the al-Bukamal border crossing.
“An attack, that was carried out an hour ago, targeted positions at the Iraqi-Syrian border near al-Qa’im and al-Bukamal, there were no victims [as a result],” the Lebanese channel quoted the source as saying.
The source didn’t reveal the exact location of the targeted positions. However, the Iranian-backed Fatemiyoun Brigade released several photos confirming that the al-Bukamal base was the target.

I dont think Israel attacked Al Bukamal on 16 Sept…IDF attacked on 9 Sept and IRGC responded with a barrage of Fajr 5 rockets vs IDF military base…but on 16 Sep SAA sources denied any attacks in Al Bukamal…there was a IED strike vs SAA/NDF near Al Badía whre ISIS continue active!…other thing is that IRGC and Shia militia press Russia to defend Syria vs Israeli airstrike or they will have to deploy own Iranian SAD system there!

If those photos are genuine then these were low yield missiles rather than the higher grade that one would expect from Israeli warplanes. The damage to the 80mm flat roof is minimal a heavier load would have moved it 100mts from its posts if now shredded entirely. The JCB looks like it was hit with an RPG than an airstrike
