Early on April 27, the Israeli Air Force carried out airstrikes on supposed ‘Iranian targets’ in the countryside of the Syrian capital, Damascus. Israeli warplanes launched missiles from Lebanese airspace.
According to Syrian sources, the Syrian Air Defense Forces intercepted a number of missiles. However, at least some of them hit their targets.
Syria’s state-run news agency SANA reported that 3 civilians were killed and 4 others were wounded in the towns of Al-Hujaira and Al-Adliya as a result of the Israeli strike.
