On June 2nd, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) announced that it had successfully carried out a firing test of its LORA (Long-range Artillery Weapon System).
The trial was held in the open sea to demonstrate LORA’s capabilities to an IAI customer.
Boaz Levy, IAI’s EVP and General Manager of the Systems, Missiles and Space Group, said:
“The complex trial, performed under COVID-19 limitations, demonstrated the advanced capabilities of both IAI and LORA, our strategic missile system. The trial was executed according to a fully functional design, which tested the system’s maneuvering, strike, and precision, as well as technological developments and enhancements introduced by our engineers. Performing a trial with this level of complexity during these days is a testament to IAI’s unwavering commitment to our clients across the globe. The impressive results of the trial prove the system’s maturity and state-of-the-art capabilities.” Levy added, “I would like to thank Israel’s Navy, Air force, and Israeli Ministry of Defense for the collaboration and assistance in this trial.”
The test date is not reported, it is only indicated that it was in May 2020 (other sources say that the tests were completed today, this may mean the return of the ships and ships participating in the tests to the port of Israel).
It is also said that the tests were carried out taking into account the limitations of the coronavirus infection COVID-19 and that the tests were joint with the MO and IUD AOI.

As can be seen in the video, the land mobile launcher was placed on a civilian vessel. Also on board was a command trailer. Tests included the launch of 2 missiles (dual operational firing trial), one at a range of 90 km, the second at 400 km.
In the past, the range of the rocket was indicated “from 90 to 300 km”, however, even then, many sources estimated the maximum range at exactly 400 km. In practice, the maximum range is related to the mass of warheads, I described this in detail in the article “LORA ballistic missile” in 2018.
The missiles were tested with an inert warhead. The goals were floats previously placed on the surface of the sea. In one case a direct hit of the target was achieved. The IAI website says that utmost precision was achieved in both shootings.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the trials:
“In parallel with the fight against coronavirus, we continue to ensure the security of Israel, both by means of defense and attack. IAI concern and security agencies – well done. Successful trials were yet another good news for the citizens of Israel, and bad news for the enemies of Israel.”
Developed by IAI’s MALAM division, LORA is a sea-to-ground and ground-to-ground system which comprises a long-range ballistic missile, a unique launcher, a command and control system, and a ground/marine support system. The LORA system provides ballistic assault capabilities for multiple ranges with a precision level of 10 meters CEP.
LORA was developed at IAI’s Systems, Missiles & Space Group. The Group boasts a long record in air-defense systems, such as the Arrow 2 and 3, the Barak 8, loitering missiles, and countless missile and satellite systems, such as observation satellites, nano-satellites, communication satellites (including Dror, the national communication satellite). The Group has also co-built the Beresheet spacecraft which traveled to the moon on its first mission. IAI is a national and global technological hub for air defense, radars, satellites, unmanned vehicles, civilian aviation, and cyber.

I on the other hand have taken a look at the palestinian issue and concluded that the illegally occupation of palestine has brought about an ethnical cleansing program by the jews on the palestinians, that the jews are guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity on a scale not seen since Hitler , that the jews have copied hitler’s lebensraum program and the jews are operating a concentration camp gaza, which ultimate end is to kill off the palestinians, that the jews kill palestinians with abandon and while at it is in the process to steal the gas under what would be the palestinian seabed and that should be enough to conclude that the jews have forfeited any right to remain in palestine (it was illegal from the very start since lloyd-george never had the right to gift palestine to the vermin)
