Overnight on March 28, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of strikes on targets in the areas of Shaykh Najjar and Jibrin, and the Nayrab airbase in eastern Aleppo.
The Syrian Defense Ministry said that it had activated its air defense and shot down multiple missiles. It noted that the strikes caused a material damage only.
According to pro-Israeli sources, the strikes hit weapon depots belonging to Iranian-backed forces and caused some casualties. No precise numbers were also provided.
The strikes took place just a few days after the US decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the occupied Golan Heights and amid the developing escalation over the Gaza Strip, which Israel is threatening with an invasion.

Good question. This is not the usual south of Damascus targets where Israel can fire from jets without entering Syrian air space. One thing this proves though is that Israel can strike anywhere in Syria with impunity.
The attack came from the East with Israeli jets tracking along Jordanian Border to Kurd-US controlled NE Syria from where they dispatched their missiles to strike the Bases in Aleppo comfortable in the knowledge that US were blocking Syrian tracking.

Putin failed to put Russian boots on the ground at the beginning of this conflict and that resulted in 2 things happening, firstly it emboldened the oppositions resolve, and secondly it also forced the Iranians to fully commit their troops to the conflict. Putin’s diplomatic efforts have given him 2 downed planes, Syrian assets destroyed by both US and Israeli, and Syrian territory controlled by both the US and Turkey, brilliant diplomatic skills if ever I saw them. Russian boots on the ground at the start of the conflict, would have helped to avoid so many of the problems Syria now faces, Putin’s lack of resolve can rightly be blamed for all of Syria’s woes since the start of the conflict, all of the Israeli incursions, the US and Turkish claims on Syrian sovereignty, the EU being swamped with Syrian refugees, all of it. I been fixing oil leaks on my KTM should be going tomorrow, am getting slowly better at jumps, no excuse not to I got heaps and try to practice once every 2 days, rode my 650 DR into Nowra today went to the dentist got a root canal done and went to sleep in the operation without any sedation, of course there was nothing wrong with my tooth their always doing stuff like that, but yer it was a great ride.

Some guys like to oil the air filter so the dust sticks to it, doing that one must be dilligent and clean it after every ride but it seems to be working. Our soils are not very abrasive in this region…mostly mud, we used to be under water in the carboniferous epoch. Which is why we have lots of gypsum around and a history of mining it.
As for jumps, i have 2 things.
#1 speed is your friend. #2 you can change the pitch of your front wheel in the air by either rear brakes to bring nose down or throttle to bring nose up. I always leave nose up a bit tap the brake. Once you get the feel of that youll be tweaking left and right.
I found an app this winter, its called peakbagger, in it you have access to very accurate topo maps….really good to plan rides out on. Check it out, just remember to turn location services off when your not using it.
