On January 29, Israeli aircraft launched strikes on the Syrian capital. Strikes hit the area of Sayed Zainab on the southern outskirts of Damascus.
Several explosions were reported in the area. Reports about the strikes were confirmed by the footage from the city:
According to preliminary reports from the area, the attack resulted in military and civilian casualties. Their number is yet to be revealed.
A military source told SANA reporter that “ Nearly at 13:00 p.m. on Monday, the Zionist enemy launched an aerial act of aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of points in southern Damascus.”
Some preliminary reports claimed that the Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) headquarters was the target of the attack.
The last Israeli attack in Damascus took place on January 20. The IRGC confirmed deaths of four of its military advisers on the western outskirts of the city. LINK
Israeli airstrikes have intensified since the war in the Gaza Strip broke out following the October 7 Palestinian surprise attack on Israel.

“at approximately 1:00 pm today, the zionist enemy launched an aerial attack from the occupied syrian golan heights, targeting several points south of damascus. this resulted in a number of civilian fatalities and injuries, as well as some material losses.”
so far two civilians killed… again if iran lost their soldiers they wouldn’t hide it.
the semi-official tasnim news agency and other irgc-linked media say the two people reported killed were syrian civilians who worked at the targeted building. more syrians near the site may also have died.
there is basically zero way that world war 3 doesn’t happen anymore. so many pissed off people now accustomed to killing people will carry on until they can’t.
yes, have a bad feeling that the west has given israel a free pass and israelis wont be happy until they get their war against iran. they want it desperately. i wonder if they have calculated that in 2 or 3 years iranian reforms will make them undefeatable so they need their war now.
