The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced on March 21 that it struck two air bases in the central Syrian governorate of Homs overnight.
In a statement, the military said that the strikes targeted “remaining strategic military capabilities” at the Palmyra military airport and the nearby T-4 airbase.
The airstrikes were launched after the Israeli Air Intelligence Group – the Israeli Air Force (IAF) intelligence unit – had been monitoring weapons and other strategic capabilities at the two military sites in central Syria over the recent period.
The strikes carried out by IAF fighter jets at both Palmyra and T-4 were described by military sources as “extensive,” taking out capabilities that would ensure the preservation of Israel’s aerial superiority in the region.
Video footage released by the IDF showed what appears to be vehicles and structures at the two air bases being targeted. Other videos posted to social networks showed large explosions and secondary blasts consistent with the destruction of air defense systems.
At least two personnel of the new Syrian military were wounded in the Israeli strikes on Palmyra, according to Syrian media.
Following the fall of the Assad regime last December, the IDF invaded the buffer zone adjacent to the occupied Golan Heights and established nine posts there. The military also launched hundreds of strikes against the country, destroying much of its combat capabilities including warships, warplanes, air defense systems and ballistic missiles.
The last few days saw an uptake in Israeli strikes on Syria. At least five were killed in an attack that targeted bases in the southern governorate of Daraa on March 17. Additional strikes hit the southern governorate of al-Qunitra and the central governorate of Homs on March 18. Another wave of strikes targeted the southern governorate of Rif Dimashq on March 21, according to unverified reports.
Israeli officials have repeatedly criticized Syria’s interim president, Ahmed al-Sharaa, with Defense Minister Israel Katz even calling him an “extreme Islamic leader.”
Sharaa has dismissed Israel’s threats and Katz’s comments as “nonsense,” and his government has denounced Israel’s continued strikes in the country, as well as the IDF’s presence in a buffer zone in southern Syria. However, the country is yet to respond in any way.

they was chasing the isis toyota that kidnapped the druze woman. an israeli soldier (a druze disguised as an israeli) was hunting isis=hts. then the druze called a few more israeli colleagues. israel is defending its fifth column, while iran and russia have thrown theirs away like a condom.
alawites screwed up, why should iran and russia support someone who cannot even help himself? assad refused various reforms, i think he checked out of being “leader” since 2019 when his wife’s condition worsened. most druze in syria do not want to be occupied by israel they protest israeli occupation. the jews are trying to snake charm them with cheap yiddish tricks, lets see if the druze fall for them
bashar al-assad made the wrong decisions and as a result, he destroyed his own people. the first mistake was that he supported active citizenship. the second was that he hated israel and listened to the iranian bastards. listen to me carefully, within a year trump will withdraw the army from iraq and then you will see what happens if they listen to iran and russia.
assad is a traitorous prostitute.
zionists too stupid to do a hostage swap so they fire their guns in frustration
the easiest way to rescue hostages is to kill them. if you kill five hostages and a hundred terrorists, it’s a good decision. if isis puts a druze girl in a toyota, it’s good to throw a bomb at the toyota.
so, if, in the style of stepan sindjelic, i kill three hundred of my own people and six thousand of my opponents, is that a good decision?
then do the world a favor and preemptively activate the samson option
do you know that the druze dress up as israelis, carry israeli guns, and fly israeli planes? israel arms and protects its fifth column. the fifth column can thus use an israeli drone to blow up isis toyotas, and has satellite images of all the toyotas approaching villages. the druze is dressed as an israeli soldier, has a bomb on his belt, has a rifle on his shoulder, has a plane and a tank to attack isis as he sees fit.
they already know who is the enemy and who is the friend. but having friends like putler and brandon is disastrous. putler betrayed syria and brandon afghanistan. but israel is there and israel can’t go anywhere, and therefore israel has to increase its population with druze, who are an integral part of the israeli army.
the israeli military pilot was essentially a druze disguised as an israeli. and then he searched for the toyota with the kidnapped druze girl all over syria, dropping bombs here and there. nothing new, the israeli fifth column is disguised as the idf, it also flies f-35s israeli bombers, soon the fifth column will also pilot f-47. the fifth column would go to idlib to find its kidnapped girl. basically nothing happened, just the druze and the israelis working together to save the druze.
why isn’t it nice when a druze disguises himself as an israeli and flies through the air in an f-16 and drops bombs all over syria?
another piece directly lifted from the times of israel, south front editorial should be ashamed of itself. all that’s missing is a report from the syrian observatory for human rights
russia + iran = worst “allies” in world
heheheh
