Israeli Defense Forces Claim They Found 2nd Hezbollah ‘Attack Tunnel’

Support SouthFront

Late on December 8, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claimed that they had found a second Hezbollah ‘attack tunnel’, which was allegedly heading from Lebanon to Israel.

The IDF launched Operation Northern Shield to crack down on Hezbollah tunnels heading from Lebanon to Israel in early December. However, so far, the IDF has found only 2 of them. Furthermore, the alleged location of the second tunnel is yet to be revealed.

Oh yes, the famed fabled 6 million lie. The more the Jews tighten their grip over others, the more people slip through their greedy fingers. Their cover is blown, and the tied is turning strongly against them every month more know their lies. http://ihr.org/sites/default/files/RevisedBillboardResized.jpg

This “tunnel” story might have another purpose other than diverting attention from N’yahoo’s corruption case and dysfunctional cabinet.

Look at this map. The location of alleged tunnels is very close to the Litani river (in fact, the closest), something about 3 kilometers. Israel is dreaming about accessing this river (not a very large river, with less than a billion cubic meters of water annually but a very important source of fresh water nevertheless). Israel is currently occupying the Shebaa Farms for the water source it has (Hasbani river, later joined by Banias and Dan rivers and a few springs from Lebanon and Syria).

The ground there is hard and burrowing a tunnel will show spikes on any seismograph and naturally the Lebanese would be interested to know why but this clown show gives excuse to Israel to use tunnel digging equipment. Israel attempted to steal water from this river before (there are small tunnels, when Israel occupied the land). Now they are using controlled explosive to “destroy the tunnels”.

Larger Google Map, find the place (from around Deir-Mimas) and measure the distance to the border (across KfarKela):

Unfortunately, the Litani River levels are very low today – due in part to the half-decade regional drought – and polluted with heavy metals and E. coli. It’s basically an open sewer. Even so:

For Israel, Southern Lebanon Means the Litani River

WHEN CHAIM WEIZMANN and David Ben-Gurion attended the 1919 Paris Peace Conference ending World War I, they presented a map containing the boundaries of their hoped-for Jewish state. The map included what is now Lebanon’s Litani River

The shaded area on the map below was their original proposal for the British Mandate of Palestine, created for the purpose of eventually ‘giving’ it to Israeli. Israel just can’t take NO for an answer.

Then there’s this interesting item from the UN’s Permanent Rep to Lebanon to the UN Security Council from 1984:

6. The woes of southern Lebanon under the Israeli heel do not end here. We are also told that the occupying Israeli forces shrink from no measure which can intimidate the population of southern Lebanon into total submission and acquiescence in Israeli expansionist aims. The siege of villages, collective detention and the periodic closing of the ports of Sidon and Tyre to prevent the unloading of wheat for the inhabitants of southern Lebanon are measures designed to achieve that very objective. The reporting building of a tunnel with the capacity to absorb all the waters of the Litani River is a clear indication of Israel’s ruthless resolve to divert the natural resources of the occupied territories to its own advantage, regardless of the suffering and destruction which such a policy would entail forthe occupied areas and their inhabitants.

Hmm… best I could find for the Cotton Plan (1953) – an Israeli-backed plan by U.S. engineers of the TVA for building a Litani diversion canal. Considering the location of alternative #3, well… you be the judge. Maybe Israel already built it years ago, but Hezbollah just found it and shut it down inside Lebanon. Israel is trying to figure out who turned off the tap.

Dear IDF fags, there will be NO “2ND HEZBOLLAH ‘ATTACK TUNNEL” if you take your fingers out of your assholes! Those are the only tunnels you have found recently!

Your story about “ATTACK TUNNELS” exist only because you want to start another aggression against Lebanon! But this time Hezbollah will kick your Jewish ass and badly!

Smaug

Of course, South front can’t resist using the word occupied wherever possible, and for some reason he doesn’t want to call it the Blue Line or simply the border. Also, does anyone doubt that Hezbollah might try something like this, even if just as a contingency plan? By all accounts Hezbollah has lots of rockets for the exact same reason as these tunnels. And UN peacekeepers did say they saw the first tunnel Israel found.

Yes they found the tunnels. It runs up deep in Satanyahoo backyard, where even the sun refuses to shine.

Abe Manhattan

Given the responses to this article, it seems that even the most ardent Hisbollah supporters don’t believe they are capable of digging tunnels. Therefore the tunnel found was dug by the Israelis in the 1950’s or 1980’s or whenever, and somehow, not found by Hisbollah since then.
